CaCO 3 Equivalent Per Ton Hydraulic Tree Feeding with P.F.C. s P.F.C. s has been formulated for deep root feeding of trees and shrubs. It supplies the primary nutrients of Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium plus Magnesium, Sulfur, Boron, Copper, Iron, Manganese and Zinc all in one ready to use package. Being a liquid, mixes instantly with water that makes it a natural to use with hydraulic equipment. A substantial percent of the Nitrogen in is unique as it is derived from Triazone. With Triazone, there is little chance of burn because it makes its Nitrogen available through a slow regulated breakdown of complex molecules. Triazone lasts substantially longer than Urea or Ammonium Nitrate in the soil and provides a steady source of Nitrogen to trees and shrubs. Hydraulic Feeding: To feed with your hydraulic system at the 1 pound per caliper inch rate, obtain a hydraulic needle probe unit with an on/off lever. To determine the output of your equipment, place the probe in a bucket and time how long it takes to pump one gallon of water. The time it takes to fill one gallon is the amount of time you will require for each one-gallon injection. Apply five such one-gallon injections per caliper inch of tree, totaling five gallons of diluted solution. The rate of 1 pound per caliper inch of tree is obtained by mixing 100 pounds (10 gallons) of into 500 gallons of water and injecting five gallons of diluted solution per caliper inch of tree. To determine the caliper inches of a tree, measure the diameter of the tree at breast height. The fertilizer injections should be made 2-1/2 feet apart beginning two feet from the trunk of the tree going in a circular pattern around the tree extending two feet beyond the drip line. Make sure the injection probe penetrates into the soil to your desired feeding depth, which should be 8 to 12 inches deep. Care should be taken to prevent hollowing out of the root area with excessive water. Inject 1 to 5 gallons of the diluted fertilizer solution per each inch of tree trunk diameter at breast height will provide a continuous feeding throughout the growing season. Foliar Feed: Mix 2 to 3 quarts of per 100 gallons of water, spray until light run-off. Foliar feeding with will help correct deficiencies that occur through the growing season. Do not foliar feed when temperatures exceed 80 F, or in drought conditions. Feeding Turf with P.F.C. s Know the capabilities and limitations of the applicator you plan to use. 33 Ammonium Thiosulfate with 26% Sulfur Liquid Fertilizer Weight per gallon: lbs. ph: Total Nitrogen (N) % 12% Ammoniacal Nitrogen Sulfur (S) % Derived from Ammonium Thiosulfate Enhances Manganese availability Ammonium Thiosulfate is an excellent source of ammoniacal nitrogen that is quickly absorbed by the plant. This results in greener turf, even at low soil temperatures. Use when a liquid type of ammoniacal nitrogen source and sulfur is required. Ammonium Thiosulfate is a neutral to slightly basic (7.2 8 ph), clear liquid solution, containing 12% nitrogen and 26% sulfur. Each gallon of Ammonium Thiosulfate contains 1.3 lbs. of nitrogen and 2.8 lbs. of sulfur. Ammonium Thiosulfate is compatible with most liquid fertilizer materials. Nitrogen and sulfur are important components of proteins. Sulfur deficiency can affect the plant s ability to utilize nitrogen for protein synthesis. Thiosulfate sulfur is unique in that it exists in two oxidation states. This gives it enhanced pathways of availability more suitable to the sulfur uptake patterns of most plants. When applied to soils, Ammonium Thiosulfate decomposes to give approximately equal parts of sulfate sulfur (S0 4-2 ) and elemental sulfur (S 0 ). The sulfate sulfur is immediately available for plant uptake, whereas the elemental sulfur S 0 must undergo oxidation to S0 4 2 before it can be absorbed by plants. Thiosulfate as a Sulfur Source. The advantage of thiosulfate, in comparison to other sulfur forms, is that the sulfur need for plant growth becomes available over several weeks. When sulfur is applied totally in the sulfate form, some may be lost to leaching; the result of rainfall and/or irrigation water moving this form below the root zone. When elemental sulfur is applied, oxidation to a sulfate form must occur before it becomes available to the plant. Thiosulfate helps supply the plant s sulfur needs quicker than other sulfur forms. Greens, Tees & Fine Turf: Apply 9-12 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. (3-4 gallons per acre) every 14 days in a minimum of 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. Irrigate after application. Fairways, Roughs, Sports Turf & Lawns: Apply 3-4 gallons per acre (9-12 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft.) every 14 days during active growth period. Apply in a minimum of 87 gallons of water per acre (minimum of 2 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft.). Fertigation: Apply 1-5 gallons per acre (3-15 oz. per 1,000 sq. ft.) with the irrigation water. Repeat as needed every 7-14 days during active growth period. Application Precautions: Do not apply Ammonium Thiosulfate directly on or below germinating seeds such as in a pop up fertilizer. Dry soil condition and/or combination with other starter fertilizers may damage germination. Always irrigate with sufficient water to reduce the possibility of fertilizer injury. Avoid application during mid day when temperatures are high. Pounds of Nutrients per Liquid Ounce Oz. Nitrogen Sulfur Apply per 1,000 sq. ft. at desired rate. Ammonium Thiosulfate should not be mixed with acids or other acidic materials below a ph of 6. It acidifies irrigation water; improves water penetration; helps free up bound nutrients in alkaline soil and supplies Carbon to soil microorganisms. phusion Organic Acid combines the unique properties of lignin and organic acids. phusion Organic Acid provides the benefits of dissolving Bicarbonates and lowering ph. The lignin complex acts as a buffering agent against corroding metals which allows phusion Organic Acid to be applied with conventional spraying equipment, or as an injected through an irrigation system. Lignosulphonate molecule displays most of the properties attributed to humus present in soils: It is a source of plant nutrients due to the carbon and sulfur present in the Carbon phiber molecule. Acidulates irrigation water to improve water penetration into the soil. Destroys bicarbonates, which frees calcium to help build good soil structure and prevent soil from sealing over. Reduces the incidence of localized dry spots (reduces use of wetting agents). Improves fertilizer efficiency by solubilizing nutrients tied up in alkaline soils. Increases water use efficiency (reduces water use) by improving water Improves efficiency of alkaline sensitive pesticides. Stabilize Irrigation Water ph and Scale Control For continuous injection treatment, inject oz. of phusion Organic Acid in every 100 gallons of irrigation water with Hardiness of 3,500 ppm and ph of 7.5. Adjust injection rate based on titration test of irrigation water s hardness & water ph. Cleaning Drip Irrigation Lines: Injection rates are determined by water alkalinity and water ph. Inject sufficient amounts of phusion Organic Acid to reduce irrigation water ph to 3. Maintain water in system for a minimum of 30 minutes. In the absence of a titration test, inject 4 to 8 quarts per acre per hour for one hour once a month. Greens, Tees & Fine Turf: Apply 2 oz per 1,000 sq. ft. (88 oz. per Acre) once or twice per month. Apply in spray tank with a minimum of 2 gallons per 1,000 sq. ft. (87 gallons per Acre). For best results, irrigate after application to work phusion Organic Acid solution into the soil. Fairways & Sports Turf: Apply oz. per Acre once or twice per month throughout the growing season. Irrigate after applying to move phusion Organic Acid into the soil. Releasing Tied Up Micronutrients (Complexing Agent): Many cation based, non-chelated micronutrients (i.e. ferrous sulfate, manganese sulfate, magnesium sulfate, etc) can become tied up in soils. Applications of phusion Organic Acid with these micronutrients complexes them, and allows them to be more available to the plant. Apply oz. of phusion Organic Acid for every lb. of micronutrient. (Example: For 10 lbs of 32% Manganese Sulfate, this represents 3.2 lbs of actual Manganese. Apply oz of phusion Organic Acid to improve availability. Be sure to mix with plenty of water. This unique organic acid is a combination of Calcium Lignosulfonate and Lignosulfonic Acid. phusion Calcitic Limestone increases the soil ph as much as 4 times faster than conventional limestone products at similar application rates. When phusion Calcitic Limestone is dissolved by water, the organic acid accelerates the reaction of releasing available Calcium and neutralizes the hydrogen (H+) ions in the soil. The Calcium Lignosulfonate and Lignosulfonic Acid convert the calcium in phusion Calcitic Limestone into a more soluble form, readily available for plant uptake or ph adjustment. phusion Calcitic Limestone addresses both the calcium needs of the plant, as well as the growing media ph. phusion Calcitic Limestone will help achieve a uniform calcium profile throughout the soil. Tees, Fairways, Sports Turf & Lawns: To maintain ph, apply 5 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. or 200 lbs. per acre of phusion Calcitic Limestone at least twice per growing season. Follow soil test recommendations. To adjust soil ph, apply 12 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. or 500 lbs. per acre of phusion Calcitic Limestone. This has the potential to raise the ph up to one full point ( ) for soils that have a CEC of 10 or less, and to a soil depth of 4 inches. Retest and reapply if needed at this rate. phusion Calcitic Limestone is ideal for turf and horticultural application. 55 PGPR Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria Naturally Improves Turfgrass ability to utilize soil nutrients Coverage: 1/2 Acre or 21,780 sq. ft. Net Weight: 2.6 Liters (5.7 Lbs) This product is a naturally occurring live Rhizobacteria. Delftia acidovorans RAY Billion (1x10 9 ) / ml or 26 x / 2.6 liters What is Green-T PGPR and how does it work? Bacteria from the root region (rhizobacteria) that colonize plant roots and stimulate plant growth are called Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). Green-T PGPR affects nutrient uptake by roots and enhances plant growth. The colonization of Green-T PGPR on roots allows the turf plant to effectively utilize soil nutrients that it otherwise may not be able to use. Green-T PGPR does not replace a fertility program; instead, it allows the turf plant to more effectively use and absorb the nutrients that are present in the soil. Green-T PGPR for turf utilizes a naturally occurring, environmentally friendly biological growth promoter. The active ingredient of Green-T PGPR utilizes a patent-pending technology of a bacterium called Delftia acidovorans RAY209. Green-T PGPR improves nutrient uptake of the plants through colonization of the rhizosphere. Green-T PGPR increases the plant s efficiency to absorb soil nutrients. The results are an increase in growth vigor and plant health due to a healthier and larger root system. Greens, Tees, Fairways & Sports Turf: Apply Green-T PGPR anytime soil temperatures are between 50 F and 86 F. Bacterial proliferation of Green-T PGPR occurs between 64 F and 91 F. The ideal temperatures are between 71 F and 82 F. Spray applications should be applied when soil temperatures are at least 50 F. Apply once every 4-6 weeks at a minimum of 2 applications and a maximum of 4 applications per growing season. For best results, do not over populate the soil with Green-T PGPR. Apply 2.6 liters (1 box) to 1/2 acre (21,780 sq. ft.) with gallons of water per 1/2 acre. Thoroughly irrigate the spray after application to move Green-T PGPR into the root zone. The best time to apply is during early morning or late evening. Water in immediately. Mixing Preparations: Green-T PGPR needs to be irrigated after application to move it to the turf roots, and to prevent sunlight degradation of the rhizobacteria. If tank mixing Green-T PGPR, use with products that require irrigation immediately after application. Green-T PGPR should be added last in the tank mix sequence. Adjust ph of spray tank solution to Prior to any fertilizer or pesticide application, all spray mixing and application equipment must be cleaned. A quality tank cleaner is recommended.
