Volker Steil Beate Küpper Filmless and paperless workflow is achieved at the Universitätsklinikum Mannheim through the combination and integration of MOSAIQ image enabled oncology information system and MOSAIQ Oncology PACS. MOSAIQ provides the foundation for image, data and workflow management that includes comprehensive radiation therapy charting and business process management as well as integration with virtually all imaging, planning and delivery systems. Capable of supporting multi-vendor, multi disciplinary, and multi site organizations, MOSAIQ provides a central database solution to ensure that information is available everywhere, every time it is required. MOSAIQ Oncology PACS is designed to manage the ever increasing volumes of large datasets in radiotherapy. Archived images and documents can be viewed and evaluated in context with the patient record, eliminating the need to use specilized applications or workstations. Providing support for both DICOM and non DICOM data, MOSAIQ Oncology PACS provides a complete solution for both short and long term storage of images, and data generated from the use of advanced IGRT treatment machines.
