6 Course Description The IBUS Course: Multimodality Breast Imaging and Image-guided Interventions brings together an international and local faculty of breast disease experts. Presentations will highlight recent developments of clinical value, and define the current role of breast imaging modalities. Programme topics include new technologies, ultrasound, mammography and MR imaging, benign and malignant disease detection and diagnosis, and ultrasound-guided interventional techniques. The lectures programme will be complemented by case presentations and panel discussions involving the expertise of the international and local faculty members with audience participation. A series of hands-on workshops will enable participants to gain valuable experience in the practical aspects of breast ultrasound imaging and the use of interventional techniques under the supervision of faculty members. This course provides a unique opportunity for all participants to benefit from the expert faculty gathered in Istanbul for this important (CME) activity.
