Anaesthesiology: The Surgical camp held in association with Rotary Club on 4th, 5th and 6th December Total of 61 patients were operated for which all Operation Theatre arrangements and anaesthetic management were done by the Department. During the workshop organized by Department of Urology on 18th October 2015 the department organised operation theatre and gave anaesthesia for patients of Live Urology Workshop. Sood, Associate Professor, attended APPICON 2015, the 61st Annual Conference of Association of Physiologists & Pharmacologists of India at AIIMS Jodhpur from 26 Nov 2015 to 28 Nov He also presented a paper titled A study of item writing flaws in multiple choice questions in Physiology for MBBS students. Gandage, Professor & HOD has attended and participated as Chairperson for Scientific in one day CME on Intervention Basics INTERVEN 2015 organized Maharashtra State Chapter of Indian Society of Vascular & Interventional Radiology (MS ISVIR) which was held in Pune on 20th December, (2 MMC Credit Points have been awarded for this CME) 2. Dr. Pratiksha Yadav, Associate Professor presented research paper in most prestigious Radiology conference of world Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) on Role of Magnetic Resonance Imaging in Thyroid Nodules; Evaluation of the Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy and Diffusion Weighted in Benign from Malignant Thyroid Nodules held on 02nd Dec at McCormick Place, Chicago, IL. 3. Dr. Yadav Munde, Asst. Professor has attended and participated as FACULTY in INTERVEN 2015; CME organized by Maharashtra Chapter of Indian Society of Vascular & Interventional Radiology (ISVIR) held on 20th December 2015 in Pune; and he has conducted workshop session on LASER and RF Hardware for varicose veins 4. Dr. Yadav Munde, Asst. Professor participated as a Faculty in 7th National Endovascular workshop which was held on 3rd to 4th Oct at Ahmedabad. He has participated as a Faculty and Moderator. He has presented interesting cases of endovascular intervention. 5. Dr. Yadav Munde, Asst. Professor is invited as a Speaker in the 18th Annual national Conference of Indian Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (ISVIR) which is scheduled to take place at Bengaluru from 18th to 21st Feb His going to speak on Interventions in male infertility (Varicocele embolization). 6. Dr. Yadav Munde, Asst. Professor is invited as a Faculty in the 4th annual conference of Trubleshooting in Endovascular Practice conference (TEPCON) which is scheduled to take place at Anand, Gujarat from 30th -31st JAN His participation will be as a Faculty and Moderator. He will be presenting interesting cases of endovascular intervention. Department of Emergency Medicine Dr. S. K. Thombre was invited as a panelist for Ambulatory Anesthesia. Prof Weyland West Germany Prof Girish Joshi -USA were among the panelists. This was held at Poona hospital.1st Nov in the memory of late Dr. A. M. Deshpande professor Emeritus BJMC & the senior most anesthetist in Pune city.

8 Department of Psychiatry 1. Four Faculty and Seven residents doctors from department of psychiatry attended the 13th Biennial Conference of Indian Association for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (IACAM) from19th - 21st Nov 2015 held at AFMC Pune. Dr. D. Saldanha chaired two Scientific sessions during the conference. 2. Eight resident doctors and a faculty from department of psychiatry attended the 16th Annual National Conference of Association of Industrial Psychiatry of India which was held in Mumbai on 28th and 29th November 2015.Dr D Saldanha who is the President of the association was involved in smooth proceedings of the two day event and chaired one award paper and one Scientific session Scientific papers were presented by PG Residents, out of which Dr. Jyotsna Vanka who contested the SHANTI NIKETAN MENTAL HEALTH AWARD FOR ORIGINAL RESEARCH won the award for her paper on Internet addiction in Medical Students. The Department of Respiratory Medicine and Department of Preventive and Social Medicine had jointly conducted a RNTCP training programme for Newly joined PG resident doctors (JR-I) of all departments on 22nd December 2015 at our College Auditorium from 2pm to 4pm. Dr. Khedkar, Assistant Professor, Department of PSM and Dr. Sudhir Dahintankar, Medical Officer, (RNTCP) of our department both were the facilitated the training program. The total number of PG resident doctors present was 41.

Patil medical college actively participated in MAPCON 2015, held at Nagpur on 30th on october PG residents made paper presentations in free paper session.
