THE FOLLOWING AGENCIES/DEPARTMENTS/CONCERNED PARTIES HAVE NO OBJECTIONS TO THE REQUESTED MINOR VARIANCE: Bell Canada Comments were not available at the time of writing this agenda. Cogeco Cable No Comments Halton Hills Hydro- See attached report dated August 12 th /10 for comments in regard to any costs due to changes required of Halton Hills Hydro distribution system, and also that Halton Hills Hydro must be contacted for any Electrical Service Layout if a new service or upgrade to an existing service is required; or metering changes. Halton Hills Fire Department No Comment. Halton Hills Infrastructure Services - Engineering No Objection. Engineering concerns will be addressed during the Building Permit process. Note the following: 1. Prior to the issuance of a Building Permit the Applicant shall provide a Grading Plan of the building envelopes showing suitable surface drainage on the property, including existing and

5 proposed elevations, to the satisfaction of the Director of Engineering, Public Works and Building Services. 2. The Applicant will require a Demolition Permit. The Permit can be obtained after application to the Infrastructure Services Department. The work associated with this Permit must be to the standards of the Town of Halton Hills. 3. Site Alteration By-law , enacted on June 18, 2001, to Prohibit or Regulate Site Alterations within the Town of Halton Hills may apply to any proposed changes on this property. Copies of By-law and the necessary documents for implementation of any works are available at the Town of Halton Hills Infrastructure Services counter on the lower level at the Civic Centre or on the Town of Halton Hills Web Site. 4. For any changes to the site Town staff would strongly suggest that proper engineering practices be used to maintain the existing drainage crossing this site. Halton Hills Infrastructure Services - Building/Zoning Department Halton Hills Official Plan Agricultural Area subject to Special Policy Area 1. Halton Hills Zoning By-law 74-51, as amended RU-1, Rural Special Zone and partially as OS2-1, Inherent Hazard Lands Special Zone. No Objection, however provide no opinion on the planning merits of this application. Note that the property is the subject of three (3) previous Minor Variances and that the property is subject to By-law "New Comprehensive Zoning By-law" passed July 19, 2010 which is currently subject to the appeal period under the "Ontario Planning Act" and is not considered under full force and effect at the time of the writing of these comments. See attached Interoffice Memo dated August 13 th /10 for further explanation/clarification and details. Halton Region, Legislative & Planning Services No Comment. Halton Hills Planning, Development & Sustainability Department No Objection subject to a condition that speaks to Site Plan. See attached Interoffice Memo dated August 24 th /10 for further explanation/clarification and details on requested condition and Infrastructure Services Engineering and Halton Hills Hydro s requested notes. Halton Hills Zoning By-law 74-51, as amended RG, General Residential Zone. No Objection, however provide no opinion on the planning merits of this application. Note the property is the subject of a previous Minor Variance A32/98 to permit a reduced lot area and that the property is subject to By-law "New Comprehensive Zoning By-law" passed July 19, 2010 which is currently subject to the appeal period under the "Ontario Planning Act" and is not considered under full force and effect at the time of the writing of these comments.
