2 Hi beautiful, I m grateful that you have taken time to get my free report. It s exciting for me and I hope it is for you as well. The journey to a natural radiant clear skin has finally began with this simple step you have taken. I m here with you every step of the way to help you, until you are able to gain that confidence back. My name s Rachel, the author and founder of which started with one purpose - and that is to help you through this somewhat of a tough time. A couple of years back, I had acne and I m overjoyed that I can not only relate to you, but help you as well. I m here not to just talk about this issue but offer my help as someone who has gone through it. You are probably going through some emotional and physical pain and I 2

3 understand that fully well. I believe that is why you are here. You want to find solutions to your problem, and I want to be part of you finding that solution. There s beauty in finally being free both mentally and physically, and watching your life go back to normal. This is the reason why I have written down these 10 things you can immediately start doing to achieve a clear and radiant skin. The 10 easy steps I m about to describe to you might go against what you may think you know, but it s important that you have an open mind and take that leap of faith to do it. Before we get started, I ll cover topics such as; 1. Healthy eating 2. Sleeping 3. Exercise 4. Eating more greens 5. Supplements you can start taking 6. Taking control of your mind 3

4 I want you to go back to a time in your life(maybe it s even right now) where you were using super expensive skin care that promised clear skin, or even birth control pills to control your breakouts? In fact, you may have put your faith in these things only to be highly disappointed. Your skin instead of clearing up got more irritated and inflamed. I have the confidence to give you these 10 steps I m about to mention because just like you, I have tried and tested everything. These steps will work if you re willing to give them a chance. How do I know that? A few years ago, I suffered from cystic acne. If you search up what cystic acne is, you can already imagine how big, bumpy and painful mine was. I tried many things that didn t work for me because I was treating my acne topically, rather than dealing with the root cause of it. 4

5 Here are some pictures I took then of my acne: I actually took these pictures purely by chance. I didn t even think that one day I would be talking to you about it. 5

6 For me, my breakouts would occur mostly during my menstrual cycle. I thought my acne would go away easily after my period was over - not knowing that it was the beginning of my nightmare. It got worse in a matter of days! I then I came to the realization that something was wrong. I tried all that I could in hopes that something could work. NEWSFLASH...nothing did. In fact, it only got worse. Close friends and family started getting concerned with the state of my skin and some suggested some creams I could use. You know how people think a little their suggestion will magically cure acne? Boy, were they wrong! All my life I have had somewhat of a clear skin - except the once-in-a-while spots I would get. The great thing was that these occasional spots were something I could handle. My acne on the other hand stressful is an understatement. 6

7 So what caused my acne? At the time, I couldn t really pin-point the main culprit, but now I know it was my diet and lifestyle habits. They were terrible! I would eat processed food, sleep at odd hours of the night trying to complete assignments and barely drunk water except for sodas or juice. What you re feeding your body has some serious consequences. These consequences definitely showed up on my face as acne. The state of your skin right now is an indication of an imbalance somewhere. It s a signal the body is giving you to fix something. When I first began to break out, I had hoped that my skin would heal in about a week or so, but that clearly didn t happen. For as long as I refused to make changes to the choices of food I ate, nothing was going to change. I got more worried and anxious every day because I didn t know why my skin was behaving so badly. What made it even worse was 7

8 that I didn t experience acne in my teenage years as some of my friends did, so to experience it as an adult was just terrible. I promise not to be too gloomy, so here s some exciting news! When I knew that I could clear my skin out naturally without having to worry about bad side effects, I decided to go for it 100%. The great thing about doing a natural treatment is that it goes to the root cause of acne. This is perfect because it prevents new breakouts from popping out since the skin heals itself from the inside out. As I took that brave step, the big bumps on my face started to shrink and dry out. My skin was clear in just a couple of months together with treating my body well. And you know what is amazing about natural healing? The fact that it is a permanent solution- very rare these days! Unlike using chemicals that scratch at the surface of the problem, going the natural route saves you both time and money.this was honestly such a great feeling for me because I knew that if I continued to stay healthy, my skin would show for it. I have had clear since then. 8

9 This is after- huge difference right? So, I hope this is motivation for you to start treating your body like the temple that it is. Remember that what goes on in the body, affects other parts too. Covering the problem with drugs and other chemicals is far from addressing the root cause of acne. 9

10 I hope that after this talk, you can make the conscious decision to experience the benefits of natural healing. I only want the best for you- and that includes clear skin. That s why I m so passionate about this. Here are the 10 steps to a radiant clear skin starting right now! 1. Listen to your body It is time you supported your body to help it heal itself by LISTENING to it. Your body is super intelligent and thus doesn t make a mistake when communicating something to you. My experience with acne is what made me realize that my total health was not in good shape at all. There is clearly an imbalance and the body is expressing this through your skin. Like I have said before, you are able to know what is making you feel a certain way based on how your body is feeling. For example, you know that your skin gets a certain reaction once you eat dairy products like cheese, milk etc. You can with this information either continue to feed this to your body, or immediately stop. 10

11 In my case, sugar was a huge craving, and took a lot of discipline to quit. What s yours? 2. Make small changes and start eating smart What am I saying here? If you focus on change, you will definitely get results. But, it must begin with making the right choices with the food you eat. What I mean by eating smart is that you only eat foods that help your body. There is a ton of healthy food, and each is beneficial in its own way. Some examples include leafy greens such as kale, spinach and broccoli, or protein like fish and lentils. Incorporating organic ingredients into your cooking will begin a great transformation with your skin. All these are small changes that provide the body with the fuel it needs to function better. Your skin will love it, I promise. 3. Hydrate your body with water I m sure you have heard that dehydration is one of the leading factors that affect the skin. Since we re been honest here, I will share one of my past struggles with you. Drinking water was a nightmare for me - I avoided doing it like a plague. 11

12 Very few people can boldly say that they love to drink the recommended amount of water a day. But, because of how important it is, it s just a must. I know adding in some flavour with lemon or mint can give the water a better taste! I think that it s a better option than trying to fight the urge to drink fizzy drinks and juices. They re packed with so much sugar which is a no-no if you re looking to clear your skin. 4. Make leafy greens your friend On a healthy note, I want you to love the greens. Actually, they should become your best friend you just can t do without them. Green vegetables such as broccoli and kale are so nutritious for not only your body, but your skin too. You re not only limited to the usual kind, but you can definitely explore your options when it comes to finding your favs! Kale for example is known to be both an anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant. Cucumber and romaine on the other hand are great hydrators. Just make sure that they are: Local (organic is better) 12

13 Eaten raw if possible (nutrients are preserved) 5. Support your skin as it heals Learn to leave your face alone. This includes no picking, popping or touching your acne no matter the condition. Being too harsh with your skin will only leave it with those dark spots that you don t want to see or deal with after your skin has healed. Trust me; I had a tough time with that! Be careful of what face wash, mask or moisturizer you use on your skin. I always recommend organic because it s less abrasive on the skin. Also, chemicals are well known to cause inflammation and redness. You definitely want to stay away from chemical-filled products so that your skin can heal naturally. TIP: Instead of using chemicals on your face, opt for natural honey as a face wash and moisturize with any organic cold pressed oil for oily skin. For dry skin, argan oil is an amazing moisturizer. 13

14 6. Get enough sleep It is so easy to become a culprit of sleeping less since life gets in the way sometimes. The truth is that not getting enough sleep eventually affects the body. I believe that no person chooses not to sleep without a valid reason. Sometimes, it can be due to a racing mind or social media- yes, information overload is a REAL thing. Lack of sleep may not be a direct cause of acne but it is one of the factors that contribute to it. So, remember this...your body works so hard during the day to digest the food you eat and to process information to the brain. Therefore, the evening is the only time the body can get recharged for the following day. It is also the only time that waste and toxins are being released to clean the body out. Now, imagine if you don t give it time to do all that? The body will collapse and burn outthe skin will surely suffer. Given half a chance, the body heals itself through sleep. My advice is that you take this seriously - you need to sleep at night to allow the body to reboot and clean itself out 14

15 7. Probiotics - Populate the gut with good bacteria. What are probiotics? Simply put, they are good bacteria that help keep your gut healthy. I have written a few articles on the blog about them. To get into probiotics, you can; Use quality supplements which can be of tremendous help to your gut because the food you eat is just not enough. When looking to buy these supplements, be sure to do your research well. Head over to my blog to see the ones I love. Another way is to learn how to prepare cultured and fermented foods. This alone will be of so much help to your digestive system. One of the foods you can ferment is cabbage. Make yourself some Sauekraut at home. I absolutely love it! 15

16 You can also buy Kefir powder. Add this to water (or milk) and that s how you make yoghurt with live cultures. If you don t take dairy (good choice!) almond or rice milk is a good start. Remember that acne has a direct link to the digestive system, and probiotics aims at improving that. 8. Find time to exercise Exercising or moving your body does not only help the body get rid of toxins as you sweat, but plays a role in digestion. As you sweat during your exercise routine, the pores on your skin open up and any build up from clogged pores is eliminated. Doing this should not be something hectic or that you absolutely can t stand. There s a ton of fun ways of moving your body such as running, yoga or biking. For example, o You can get off the bus or train one stop before and walk to work, school or wherever you may be going. 16

17 o Walk your dog out. o Or be in the habit of taking walks with friends or even alone for some fresh air. Helping your body get fit does not necessarily require hectic exercise. Any movement you do is important. Exercise doesn t only help the body burn calories, but there is a chemical that gets released called Endorphins (I promise this isn t a Science class). It makes you feel great, motivated and happier. So make that body sweat more often! There are other ways you can help balance your body and that is by finding a spiritual practice. I dedicate time to prayer everyday which makes me face the day with hope and less stress. It also helps you live life from a centred place. I would encourage you to find a spiritual practice you enjoy. The idea is to feed that spiritual part of you. 9. Alkalize your body by adding lemon to your water I did mention above that adding lemon to your water is a fun way of taking the boring out of drinking it. But, is there an actual benefit to doing this? Yes, yes and yes. I do it 17

18 whenever I wake up to kick start my day the right way. It is not just good for your skin but it reduces the level of acid in the body - which often causes health problems. Sugar and processed food for example are super acidic. A reason for this is the terrible ingredients added to them. When acid in the body is higher than normal, the effect is always bad health. I know you might be thinking to skip out on using lemon all together because it s acidic, but its acidity comes in handy. It actually helps alkalize the body which reduces its acid levels. Cool, right? So, now that you know that those lemons in your fridge are not only for fish. Make yourself a glass of water with lemon to start your day off the healthy way! 10. Change the way you think You are your own best friend. So don t put yourself down when one thing is not going according to plan about your skin. 18

19 Give yourself a chance to rise above this challenge by loving, nurturing and caring about your body. Everything else will work because you trust yourself enough to overcome the problem. Journaling and meditating are great ways of focusing on yourself and putting your thoughts and fears on paper. You can ask yourself the following; What am I scared of? Do I have any self-defeating beliefs i.e. I can t heal my acne? What do I love about myself? Do I really believe I can have clear skin again? What steps can I take to reach my goal of having clear skin? You need to believe that you can clear your acne, and equip yourself with the knowledge and tools to do just that. And, I m here to help! These 10 things I have given you is only a start to a great and wonderful journey for flawless skin. 19
