18 Lessons Learned: It Can Be Done! Through public-private partnerships, it is possible to achieve positive public health results, and at the same time meet the individual organizational goals of partners, including from the private sector and academia Through a consultation process "Caries Free Initiative Call for Action," we were able to seek out opportunities where the private sector and academia can add the most value and best support the core mission We were able to leverage resources to attain outcomes in less time, at a lower cost, and with greater sustainability The alignment of a common goal was key Multi-stakeholder partnerships can play a role in economic development, because the paradigm today is shifting and more and more people live healthy, affordable, sustainable lives. Also, partnerships are of interest to the economic development of countries and, more than ever, building integrated strategies and innovative approaches to mobilize resources is necessary Thank you!
