SLRC QUARTER 2, MODULE 20 TOOLS & TECHNIQUES
Holistic Tools and Techniques for Self-Pleasuring Common issues in SLR & recommended Holistic Sex Practices Below you will find the most the most common issues in sex, love and relationships and the holistic sex practice recommended for it: Premature Ejaculation For men who want to last longer during sex but experience a lot of tension or fear which leads them to ejaculating very quickly. Breath: Deep belly breathing during sex Conscious relaxation of the sex muscles (pelvic floor, muscles around the penis and anus) Focus: Movement of sexual energy from the penis up the spine starting with turn-on (i.e. don t wait until the last minute, start doing this as soon as he feels turn-on) Erectile Dysfunction For men who can t get erections, or can t keep them as long as they would like. Energy: Connection to energetic power of the penis (i.e. he feels that his penis is powerful whether or not he is erect.) Breath: Breathing into the head of the penis or the perineum (whichever makes him feel more sexually alive and powerful)
Intention: To accept his penis no matter what, whether he has an erection or not NOTE: I have also found that regular testicle massages can cure or alleviate erectile dysfunction. Experience surrender during sex Especially for women who want to experience deeper states of surrender in pleasure or orgasm Focus: Body meditation to get out of head/control Breath: Deep relaxed breathing that is consistent and strong enough to bring her into an altered state of consciousness Sound: Loud sounding of her sexual sensations that would support her surrender Intention: To surrender! NOTE: Surrender should be done in manageable doses. A client doesn t need to surrender all at once, but can use focus, breath, sound and/or intention to surrender more and more each time. Deepen the sexual connection with partner For anyone who wants to deepen their sexual connect with their partner. Slow down everything! Breath: Into the heart Focus: On felt-sense in themselves and their partner
Fear of losing partner When they are terrified to lose their partner, which is usually related to an abandonment complex from childhood. Intention: Self-pleasuring focused on safety Slowing down: Holding their nervous system in a slow way and repeating the mantra safety Energy: Filling up with self-love and a sense of wholeness so it s not so terrifying even if they are alone/abandoned! Increase confidence in dating When they want to feel empowered and confident with lovers and/or while dating. Energy: Self-pleasuring to fill up with radiance, magnetism and sexual goodness OR with confidence, power and charisma (depending on client s desires) Intention: Visualize themselves dating from this place of confidence. Breath: Full-body breath to feel integrated and whole inside of themselves
Holistic Sex Tools Breath Helps with sensitizing, creating connection, integration It can help to slow down It can be used to break through blockages or walls inside, or break through a shutdown It soothes the nervous system It can be used to breathe in qualities (love, sexiness, safety, etc.) Can be activating: some people find breath to be a deep turn-on of sexual attraction and passion Sound Helps with liberation! Liberates original essence, general expression and authenticity An amazing portal to surrender It s important for moving energy inside the body. Powerful practice! You can sound blockages, constrictions, felt sense and it helps to liberate and move these Liberates and releases trauma Very important for men to sound in order to last longer and have full-body orgasms Movement Slow down and focus on the movement of their body, bring consciousness to movement! Develop awareness of body parts by gentle squeezes and releases Build strength through movement and awareness Liberated movement creates embodied sexuality and a sense of sexual freedom The most basic way to give movement exercises: Squeeze and hold for a count of 5, followed by a deep relaxation for a count of 5. Repeat. Always mix equal parts strength with relaxation.
Focus Where is the attention during self-pleasure? Where you focus changes how you feel inside Use attention and focus to refocus on body parts and sensations You can use focus in the chakra system: Root chakra: groundedness, raw sexual power, awakening of sexual energy and aliveness Womb/ovaries/hips or hip/lower belly for men: sensations, emotions and flow qualities Belly/solar plexus: fire, direction, will-power Breasts/heart/chest: love, openness and joy to life Throat: activate speaking and voice, higher genius and creativity Head/third eye: activate meditative capacity and deeper mind Crown: activate spiritual states of connection and deeper truths of who they are Energy If you re sensitive to energy, it s amazing to let energy flow through different body parts Where energy is blocked says a lot about what experiences are blocked, so again use the chakra system to find out what is blocked Investigate where there is tension that blocks free-flow Movement of energy through the microcosmic orbit creates valley orgasm experiences (i.e. orgasmic states that are not climactic, but feel like they go on and on) How to use energy in self-pleasure practices: Invite your client to experience a free flow of energy in a part of their body that they are desensitized to For example: A man who is desensitized in his penis or testicles Or for a woman, her vagina, lower belly, or the heart
Slow down This is excellent for developing sensitivity Excellent for numbness and shutdown Excellent for habituated masturbation patterns Just slowing down helps with so much! Intention Bring intention into the self-pleasuring, which is so valuable! Intention to heal, restore pleasure, celebrate qualities, open heart Intention for the experience that is desired Intention is a game-changer! Remember the stages of sexuality we worked with in Quarter One, Module Two, and use self-pleasure and intention to awaken or reclaim these parts in your client: innocence, play, honor, pleasure or sacred. This can restore a client s sexuality that they may have lost. Combine the intention with the focus in the actual practice and then any of the other tools that can support this exploration and this part. Identity Self-pleasure to empower or inhabit identities within that can help facilitate the changes or behaviour that are desires Combine intention and focus with practices that help that identity
