The biggest obstacle in getting what you want: Limiting Beliefs and Fears What are your limiting beliefs and fears about attracting your wish? The roots of Limiting Beliefs: Challenging experiences Conditioning from culture or family Past failures Childhood adversity Limiting Beliefs cause: Excuses Negative thinking (Repetitive thought patterns) Justifications Doubts, worries and fears Immobility Anxiety Clutter Procrastination Feeling stuck Issues / Symptoms unworthiness Addictions Low self-esteem Fear Money issues Difficulty attracting Self-sabotage Relationship Issues Weight issues 5

95% of issues can be traced to Related, Repetitive, Adverse Events Usually occurring during childhood Unloved Unsupported Criticized Put-down Over-Disciplined Bullied Shamed Abandoned Humiliated Ignored Unaccepted Betrayed Unacknowledged Abused Repeated negative experiences are like mini-traumas Causing negative emotions: shame, guilt, fear, anxiety, sadness uncertainty, anger Form foundational beliefs about yourself Which become core Issues! 6

Our perceptions, true or false, positive or negative, affect genetic activity at the cellular level. Dr. Bruce Lipton Our beliefs actually alter our genetic code. Who we are is based on our Perceptions Not reality If your beliefs are I m not worthy I m not good enough Then your actions are based on erroneous premises 95% of the time! 8

Let s Tap on it! Neutralize & Reprogram Multiple Traumas or Adverse Events Negative Emotions Limiting Beliefs & Fears Steps to Eliminating Baggage 1. Bundle together similar, repetitive, negative events 2. Give the bundle a name (Childhood from hell, absent father, dysfunctional CH, lonely, sad CH) 3. Assign an intensity of 10 to 1 4. Do a Reversal Neutralization 9

Reversals Can block effectiveness of tapping Reversals Secondary Benefit Syndrome (SBS) Subconscious Resistance to Change Reasons your subconscious might want to hold on to something. It s not safe to let go of your past Who would you be without your stuff? It s part of your story and your excuse It could be dishonoring your parents 10

Reversals To Neutralize a Reversal Tap on the KC Point while saying: Even though my childhood baggage keeps me stuck, there s a part of me that doesn t want to let it go And I want to love and accept myself anyway. After doing the Reversal Setup Statement 5. Tap away the baggage using the Golden Gate Technique Sample reminder statements for Bundling My childhood baggage All of these negative experiences The traumatic events The hurt & disappointment All of the fear and anxiety It wasn t fair It wasn t my fault I wish it could have been different It s time to let it go I want to let go of it! 11

The Tap it Away Sequences 1. Set-up / Reversal statement (on KC point): Even though this childhood still affects me there s a part of me that doesn t want to let it go, and I (want to) accept myself anyway. (3 times) 1. 1 st round (on tapping points): Reminder phrase; this childhood baggage Golden Gate Technique cont. 3. 2 nd round-vent feelings They were mean, I didn t feel safe, they never really heard me 4. Reassess intensity (10-0) 5. Back on the KC point: Even though there s still a part of me doesn t want to let go of my baggage, there s a braver part of me that wants to release it. I want that part of me to prevail. Golden Gate Technique adding choices 6. Repeat (steps 3-5) until intensity is 3 or less 7. Then, use Choices Even though I still feel some sadness. I chooseto let it go. 8. When at a zero, test yourself. Tryto get upset. 9. Tap away any remaining emotions or aspects of adverse events 12
