PRESIDENT S REPORT FOR DECEMBER 2018 / JANUARY 2019 Hi Country Music Members, It is with great pleasure that I bring to you my first presidents report. In 2019 our aim is to bring the members together and form a place that other music lovers will enjoy and join our club. At the Christmas party I think our small gifts for the members was well received, Our jam session the previous Friday night was a good show of support and the atmosphere by sitting in a circle and passing the mike from person to person was quite magical. I would like to congratulate our new office bearers who are:- Eddy Albert (vice president) Julie Olufson (secretary) Glenda Albert (treasurer) and Debra Cooper- Welsby (committee person)who were elected to the executive committee. We now have a container, which is stored at my place at 51 Jensen Road Jensen, to house all the Country Music excess equipment. The keys to this container are held by Julie, Glenda and myself and if anyone needs to obtain anything out of the container please feel free to contact one of the key holders. The new executive committee would like to trial a new concept for the White Board at the Fundays. It will be that all nominations to sing on the Fundays will have to be on the board before the commencement of singing. That will be the cut off point unless you have a reason for which you cannot be there such as work or the like. I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and I wish you all a Happy and prosperous New Year and hope to see you at our first Funday in the New Year. Yours in Country Music Greg Milner
