3 Forthcoming Meetings 15 th July Quiz Night & Open evening 19 th Aug Discussion regarding the Open Show, (Special Free Entry Money Raffle ) 16 th Sept Pairs Show (2 nd league show, points awarded) 21 st Oct Any Bird Show (3 rd & Final League Show, Points Awarded) 18 th Nov Young Stock Show. 16 th Dec Food & Wine & Xmas raffle, Preparation for staging the open show 17 th Dec Open Show th Jan 2017 AGM June 2016 Meeting This was an open discussion about the members breeding season so far, due to holiday s, sickness and maybe the football it was not a good turn out with only 11 members making the effort. The only good point for the members was that most that turned up left with a raffle prize. The breeding season seems to be the same story for most members, clear eggs, dead in shell, and adult birds not feeding their young. However, Dick was having a good year so far and was even thinking to putting a stop to the rest of the breeding season as he had already bred over sixty Fife Canaries. Well done Dick keep up the good work, so anyone looking for good quality Fife s next year speak to Dick I m sure he ll look after you. Anyone wishing to buy or sell birds or equipment can do so in the newsletter or on our website free of charge to members. All you have to do is contact me with what you want or what you re selling, my contact details are at the front of this newsletter. Remember the safest place to buy and sell birds and equipment is from people you know, Club members. You get to see the birds first, see what they have been breed from, what their diet is and how they have been kept. Of course we cannot do without trusted Pet Shops and dealers, but with our newsletter and website we have a forum to share information, so if you have a good or bad experience with a Pet Shop, dealer or breeder, you can let the rest of the members know about it. Dagenham RM10 7PR
4 The free entry cash draw sponsored by Vista Workspace Solutions was won by Mick Pegram, the cash in the jar was 85.53p, John Lawrence was close with a guess of just over 7.00 away from the total, but Mick s guess was only 6.00 away from the total. Mick then donated all of his winnings back to the Club to be put towards the prize money for this year s Open Show on Saturday 17 th December Club Notice The Committee and members would like to send their best wishes to Phil Heath & Paul Cambruzzi who have both been unwell recently and hope to see you back at the club soon. Treasurers Monthly Report for June 2016 Number of members present 11 Raffle made Tea Bar made New members 0 Donations This was donated by Mick Pegram who would like it to go towards this year s Annual Open Show s prize money.
