Thank you!! We would like to thank Montana Rail Link for their generous donation! With their donation we were able to purchase a counter top food warmer unit for the Senior Program. Support from our community partners is vital to our success! Strong Women Healthy Hearts Program a Great Success! We want to extend a BIG THANK YOU to Kim Degner of MSU Extension for organizing the Strong Women Healthy Hearts program at Helena Indian Alliance, this past spring. Thank you also to our amazing participants in the program, who committed to fitness and nutrition classes for 12 weeks. We are so proud of all of you! These ladies took action to improve their health and they are an inspiration to us. They walked many many miles, cooked nutritious food and learned tips on how to reduce their risk of heart disease. Helena Indian Alliance and MSU Extension are planning on teaming up again in the fall of 2016 to offer the Strong Women Healthy Hearts Program again, so please stay tuned and visit with us in the clinic if you are interested. Looking for a space to host your event? The Helena Indian Alliance is pleased to offer our facility for special events. Also I would like to say thank you to Fawn and Blue Cross Blue Shield for getting together snacks for us to take on the trip! I will be holding a youth meeting on July 14 th at 2 p.m., please email me or Facebook me if you or your youth would be interested in going.
