Resolve student problems/concerns, coordinating with the Office of Field Instruction regarding student issues in field, work with FALK Student Services on student suspensions, readmissions and probation. Work closely with the FALK College Recorder, review check sheets, transfer summaries, and degree audits to ensure consistency with our program requirements, and respond to requests for transfer credit information from prospective students year round. Coordinate with University College, meeting with prospective part-time transfer students and provide input to UC students about their admissibility to the School of Social Work, meet with UC advisors once a year to update them on any curriculum /program changes, coordinate spring advising holds, plan the UC SWK course sequencing. Plan and Implement the NYC Social Work trip. Requires working for two semesters, with graduate assistant, to plan, make reservations, coordinate on the budget with Dean s Office, select faculty chaperones, select and meet with students, wrap after trip, mark student reflection papers, and send out thank you letters.
