Refund requests made at least 5 days in advance of the program will be assessed a $5 withdrawal fee. All camps, including vacation week and summer camps, will be assessed a $25 withdrawal fee if the request is made within 5 business days of the start of the program. After that time refunds will only be processed with medical documentation. FINANCIAL AID Financial aid is available for all participants for most programs based on financial need. After registering for a program in CampMinder, click on Forms and Documents and print the Scholarship application. Complete the form and provide to Karen Ellis, our Financial Coordinator, with all supporting documentation.

2 The Bridge Center Book Club! Join us and engage in a multi-level book club. Participants will read one book per month, and meet to discuss book details, make plot predictions, and complete reading based activities, facilitated in a group setting. This club will be inclusive to all; publisher version and adapted version will be provided. November: Charlotte s W eb, by E.B. We all seek meaningful relationships and opportunities for growth and progress in our lives. Adults with developmental disabilities or mental health concerns also desire and deserve a chance to express themselves and be heard and understood. Through therapeutic music making, adults with unique needs can explore musically in a safe and therapeutic environment. In group music therapy for adults, the music and the music therapist create a safe space for exploring one s potential, strengths and needs. Through structured music making, improvisation, songwriting, or lyric analysis, a musical journey begins that can lead to increased self-confidence, improved leisure skills and satisfying relationships with others. SOCCER SKILL DEVELOPMENT All classes are non-competitive, using positive reinforcement to teach soccer skills in a fun, engaging, educational environment. We create a specific curriculum tailored to each participants needs. Our unique age-specific curriculum is designed by a combination of early childhood, behavioral, and soccer specialists to ensure that each child is learning, improving their self-confidence, and having a blast from the moment the whistle blows. Young Athletes are introduced to basic sport skills, such as running, kicking, and throwing. Young Athletes offers families, teachers, caregivers, and people from the community the chance to share the joy of sports with all children. DAY: Thursday TIME: 4:15PM 5:00PM SESSION November 2 December 21st AGES: 2-7 WHERE: TBC Gym COST: $10/Session 1 $8.75/Session 2 * No class on November 23rd

4 BRUNCH BUNCH! Breakfast and friends are an excellent pairing! Twice a month, join us in cooking breakfast while socializing and creating friendships! This program will have adults participate in the step by step process of cooking breakfast for the group, then enjoy their breakfast while socializing with their peers. The Brunch Bunch will focus on independent living skills involved in cooking such as measuring, following a recipe, and how to safely navigate the kitchen, while building social skills with topics set for discussion per class. DAY: Saturday TIME: 8:00AM-9:30AM DATES: October 7th and 21st AGE: 22+ November 4th and 18th WHERE: TBC December 2 and 16th COST: $84 BRIDGES TO INDEPENDENCE: Work, Friendship, Life Hours of Operation The Bridges to Independence (BTI) program is designed for teens and adults with Asperger s Syndrome, High Functioning Autism, and related developmental disabilities. Participants in this program will receive instruction and practice in the skills needed Administration for independent Office living Hours such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and money management. Additional emphasis will be placed on communication and social skills, including self-awareness, self-advocacy, and personal Monday Friday 8:30AM - 5:00PM safety. DAY: SESSION: Saturday Riding Center Office Hours Monday Saturday - Saturday November 8:30AM 4th - 5:00PM December 23rd TIME: AGE: 11:00AM-3:00PM 15-30 * No Program on November 25th WHERE: TBC COST: $490 YEAR ROUND REGISTRSTION AVAILABLE: Sept 9 - June 16, 2018 COPING WITH COMPETITION! This program is designed for children and teens with high functioning Autism, Asperger s, PDD-NOS and other related disorders. Participants in this program will receive instruction in practicing good sportsmanship while participating in fun competitive group games and group discussions. Participants will learn that the real winners in competition are those who behave respectfully towards others regardless if they win or lose. DAY: Wednesdays TIME: 4-5pm SESSION: November 1st- December 20th COST: $36/session WHERE: TBC AGE: 7-13 * No Class November 23rd*

5 TALES WITH TAILS! Are you a reader or want to gain confidence in reading? Come on down to The Bridge Center and spend time with our new friends! Our therapy dogs allow for a relaxed non-judgmental atmosphere, where our participants can solely focus on their reading! Our furry friends enjoy stories of all kinds, feel free to bring your own book or join in on the story of the week! Participants will have 20 minutes of 1:1 time to read to the therapy dog with the support of their handlers! To register for your day and time slot, visit our website! Each Thursday, join us in cooking dinner while socializing and creating friendships! This program will have participants be active in the step by step process of cooking dinner, being able to enjoy the meal together while socializing with their peers. This group will focus on independent living skills involved in cooking such as measuring, following a recipe, and how to safely navigate the kitchen, while building social skills and fostering friendships! 6 LEGO ROBOTICS 2.0! Lego Robotics has introduced kids to basic robotics programming! Now Lego has rolled out a new program with new kits and projects! Kids create bots with motors and sensors and then program them using new ipad software and Bluetooth technology! Introduces kids to new robotic programming. Participants in this class will engage in building and engineering challenges guaranteed to engage both techies and Lego maniacs! DAY: Saturday TIME: 2:15PM-3:15PM SESSION 1: November 4th December 16th COST: $165/Session WHERE: TBC AGE: 6-12 *No Class on Saturday Nov. 25th *Minimum of 6 participants required. Instructed by Wicked Cool for Kids SENSORY SCIENCE CLUB Hours of Operation Administration Office Have an interest in science? Looking to expose yourself to new sensory input? Join us every Tuesday to hypothesize, create and test sensory-based science experiments! This group will focus on creating predictions, following directions, communicating with peers, and having fun! 7 HALLOWEEN SOCIAL! Dress up in your best costume and come join us for some spooky Halloween fun! Guests will be able to enjoy Halloween themed games, crafts, music, and take pictures with our photo-booth props! DATE: October 28, 2017 TIME: 5:00PM-8:00PM COST: $5.00 entrance fee Light refreshments will be served Friday Movie Nights! Please join us one Friday, each month for a movie night! Light refreshments, including popcorn and drinks, will be served. All films are family friendly and accessible for all. 8 15 Holiday Party! Families are invited to a special photo session with Santa and Mrs. Claus in an environment that supports the needs of kids of all abilities. No lines, no crowds, no loud noises but lots of fun! Families are welcome to come and enjoy a photo of Santa and Mrs. Claus, coloring, activities and crafts, and a showing of The Polar Express. #BTW - By The Well Support Groups Does your child suffer from anxiety or depression? Are the stresses of school, sports, and social relationships too much at times? Come join our weekly support groups for Teens & Pre- Teens. Our groups aim at helping our children identify and manage anxiety and stress, help them feel that they're not alone, and provide them with healthy strategies for overall mind-body-spirit wellness. Groups will also feature special guests who specialize in meditation, yoga and other therapeutic practices. Hosted by our anxiety specialist and group counselor, Sheri DeChelis, M.ED., Sheri is a master's level mental health clinician and licensed school adjustment counselor. This group has been graciously funded by The I Am Strong Foundation. A $10 donation to The Well is appreciated. The groups will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 5th. Pre-Teen Alliance Group - Grades 4-7 (ages 9-12), Tuesdays from 4-5pm Teen Alliance Group - Grades 7-11 (ages 12-17), Tuesdays from 5-6pm **To register for a support group or for more information about The Well s other programs for kids & adults, go to http://www.visitthewell.org/programs/ ** 9 The Bridgewater-Raynham SEPAC (Special Education Parent Advisory Council) has paired up with The Bridge Center to provide educational seminars to administrators, teachers, parents and the broader community on Special Education issues and services. The Bridge Center does offer child care services while parents/families/caregivers attend these presentations. We do ask that parents register for this event for child care.
