PCP-FMD A working tool of the under development Global FAO/OIE Strategy for the control of FMD (0 5th stage) To assist and facilitate countries where FMD is still endemic Reduce the impact of FMD and virus load Provide guidance to appropriate levels of monitoring and surveillance (including control) for non FMD free countries Set of stages that, if implemented should enable countries to progressively increase the level of FMD control leading to official freedom with or without vaccination 2
