Each essential oil has a different chemical component. These chemical components give each essential oil its individual property antiviral, anti-infectious, soothing, cooling, stimulating, analgesic. These healing energies are used in the practice of Aromatherapy physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. 2

Essential Oil Safety Precautions: Essential Oils are powerful dilute before use unless otherwise indicated. They contain powerful chemical constituents. Essential Oils must be used carefully avoid the eyes (flush with carrier oil not water). Do a patch skin test before use. Essential Oils are not meant to take the place of a qualified medical practitioner. Seek Lorrie s advice or the advice of your Registered Aromatherapist if unsure. Essential Oil Safety Precautions 2: Do not use essential oils if you are pregnant. Do not use with transplant patients. Do not use essential oils with children Citrus oils lemon, bergamot, red mandarin, lime and grapefruit are phototoxic. Do not expose skin to direct sunlight and tanning beds after applying. Wintergreen do not use if sensitive to aspirin, or have ADD/ADHD. 3

Essential Oil Safety Precautions 3: Eucalyptus if asthmatic smell before use. Clary Sage do not use in estrogen induced tumours. Rosemary do not use if epileptic or with high blood pressure. Oregano, Cinnamon, Clove & Pine can irritate skin and mucous membranes. If in doubt consult a Registered Aromatherapist or Qualified Health Practitioner. Essential Oil Safety Precautions 4: Keep away from children. Store in a cool, place in dark glass bottles. Store away from heat, light, damp and electronic equipment. 4

Lime (Citrus aurantifolia (Christmann) Swingle) Cold pressed - peel/rind The aroma is fresh, fruity, tart, yet sparkling sweet with some spice Color is clear to greenish Beneficial Uses: It is good for grief, self blame, alertness, anxiousness, assertiveness, emotional balance and self awareness, bitterness; appetite, dementia: used as an astringent and tonic in skin care products; cools the body when suffering from high temperature, helps with body aches; Works well for headaches and sore throats. Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy. Phototoxic. Cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica (Endl.) Manetti ex Carrière ) Steam distilled-wood or sawdust. The aroma is warm, woody, sweet and slightly camphoric. Color is yellowish to an orange yellow. Beneficial Uses: Good for irritation, agitation, anxiety, meditation; cuts, wounds, scars, fungus and toning for the skin; helps stop coughs, stimulates circulation and stops insects. Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy or high blood pressure. 5

Ravintsara (Cinnamomum camphora L J.Presl.) Steam distilled - young leafy twigs. The aroma is sharp, soft and penetrating. Color is clear. Beneficial Uses: Helps overcome mental obstacles to attain goals. Antiviral properties help with fevers, flu, and colds. Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy and expressly not with children under 2 years. Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens L.) Steam distilled leaves, needles and twigs The aroma is sweet-balsamic, refreshing odor reminiscent of pine needles Beneficial Uses: helps with absent mindedness, transitions, centering, focus, sobbing, gives strength and comfort, deodorizes foot odor and skin conditions Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy 6

Rise and Shine Rituals with Lime Rise and Shine Diffuser Formulation: 18 drops Lime 7 drops Orange Diffuser Place essential oils in Diffuser. Diffuse immediately when you wake up for 10 minutes to help you Rise and Shine with energy and vigour! Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy. Rise and Shine Rituals with Lime Rise and Shine Lime and Coconut Body Scrub Formulation: 40 drops Lime 20 drops Red Mandarin 20 drops Geranium 20 drops Ylang Ylang 1 cup Coconut Oil 2 cups Sea Salt 24oz. Plastic container with lid Place salt in 24oz. plastic container. Mix essential oils and coconut oil. Then add them into the salt and stir with a spoon to mix thoroughly. Take a handful of mixture and start at the feet and go in a circular motion up the legs and continue on the rest of the body to remove dead skin. Rinse off with warm water. Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy. 7

Rise and Shine Rituals with Lime Rise and Shine Energizing Shower Formulation: 20 drops Lime 10 drops Orange 10 drops Grapefruit 6 drops Peppermint 2oz. Unscented organic soap 2oz. Plastic Bottle with squeeze top Place essential oils and soap in 2oz plastic bottle. Rub between your hands to mix thoroughly. Apply to wash cloth and feel fresh and ready to start your day. Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy. Rise and Shine Rituals with Lime Rise and Shine Lotion Formulation: 36 drops Lime 10 drops Geranium 2oz. Unscented Lotion 2oz. Plastic Bottle with squeeze top Place essential oils and lotion in 2oz plastic bottle. Rub between your hands to mix thoroughly. Apply to legs, arms, stomach area and back to feel fresh and ready to start your day. Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy and Phototoxic. 8

Men s Good Morning Skin Care Ritual with Cedarwood Facial Cleansing Formulation: 15 drops Lavender 6 drops Sandalwood 3 drops Cedarwood 2oz. Organic soap 2oz. plastic bottle Place essential oils and soap in 2oz plastic bottle. Rub between your hands to mix thoroughly. Apply to wash cloth and feel fresh and ready to start your day. Contraindications:Phototoxic Men s Good Morning Skin Care Ritual with Cedarwood Replenishing Facial Care Oil Formulation: 14 drops Red Mandarin 7 drops Ylang Ylang 2 drops Cedarwood 1oz. Carrier oil (Almond and Apricot Oil) 1oz. amber bottle Place essential oils and carrier oil in 1oz. amber bottle. Rub the bottle between your hands to mix the contents thoroughly. Apply to your face. Contraindications: Phototoxic. 9

Men s Good Morning Skin Care Ritual with Cedarwood Eau de Cologne Formulation: 7 drops Lime 7 drops Lemon 3 drops Peppermint 3 drops Sandalwood 2 drops Cedarwood 2 Tablespoons Organic Alcohol 1 Teaspoon Water 1/2 Teaspoon Glycerine 2oz. Amber bottle or perfume bottle with sprayer Place alcohol, water and glycerine in small glass beaker. Stir well. Add essential oils and mix thoroughly with glass pipette. Place funnel in 2 oz. glass bottle and pour mixture into the bottle. Spray on neck and chest. Contraindications: Phototoxic. Men s Good Morning Skin Care Ritual with Cedarwood Better Beard Balm Formulation: 6 drops Lavender 3 drops Sandalwood 2 drops Cedarwood 1 drop Patchouli 1/2 Tablespoon Aloe Vera Gel 1 ½ Tablespoons Organic Salve 1oz. Glass jar with lid Place salve and aloe vera gel in glass bowl. Blend well with spoon. Add essential oils and mix thoroughly with spoon. Place in 1oz. Glass jar. Apply to Beard after cleansing before bed to stimulate hair growth and promote shiny and healthy hair. 10

Take Care Ritual with Ravintsara Prevention and Protection Diffuser Formulation: 6 drops Ravintsara 5 drops Tea Tree Diffuser Place essential oils in Diffuser. Diffuse two to three times a week for 10 minutes to strengthen your immune system. Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy and expressly not with' with children under 2 years of age. Take Care Ritual with Ravintsara Aching Feeling Bath Formulation: 3 drops Ravintsara 3 drops Tea Tree 1 tablespoon of organic unscented soap 1 small container In small container, place essential oils in 1 tablespoon of organic soap. Mix well. Pour under running water. Make a figure eight with your hands in the water to mix the essential oils into the bath water. Reinforce your immune system and open up your respiratory system. Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy and expressly not with children under 2 years of age. 11

Take Care Ritual with Ravintsara Fortify Immune System Foot Baume Formulation: 8 drops Ravintsara 4 drops Cypress ½ oz. carrier oil (Almond or Apricot) ½ oz. amber bottle Place essential oils and carrier oil in amber bottle. Roll the bottle between your hands to mix the contents thoroughly. Apply to the bottoms of your feet after your bath. Helps fortify immune system and respiratory system. Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy and expressly not with children under 2 years of age. Warming & Comforting Ritual with Cypress Comforting and Strengthening Bath Formulation: 6 drops Cypress 6 drops Pine 1 Tablespoon Organic Unscented Bath Gel 1 Small pan In small container, place essential oils in 1 tablespoon of organic gel. Mix well. Pour under running water. Make a figure eight with your hands in the water to mix the essential oils into the bath water. Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy. 12

Warming & Comforting Ritual with Cypress Exhausted Back Compress Formulation: 6 drops Cypress 6 drops Sweet Marjoram 3 drops Lemon 2 drops Helichrysum 3 cups of warm water Large glass bowl Cotton cloth Place warm water in glass bowl and add essential oils. Mix thoroughly. Place cotton cloth in mixture and apply to the back. Keep repeating until the back starts to relax and you feel comfy and warm. Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy. Warming & Comforting Ritual with Cypress Tired and Fatigued Massage Formulation: 6 drops Lemongrass 4 drops Cypress 2 drops Peppermint ½ oz. carrier oil (Almond or Apricot) ½ oz. amber bottle Place essential oils and carrier oil in amber bottle. Roll the bottle between your hands to mix the contents thoroughly. Apply to temples, back of neck and bottoms of your feet. Contraindications: Do not use in pregnancy change and expressly not with children under 2 years of age. 13
