Content Standard 1 Movement Demonstrate competency in motor skills, movement patterns, movement concepts and strategies needed to perform in a variety of physical activities *Locomotion: Demonstrate fundamental locomotion skills while participating in a physical activity. *The continuous development and practice of skills to ensure individual success of physical activities *Describe how pedometers are used to track number of steps taken. *Demonstrate proper eye/hand, eye/foot coordination (throwing, catching, kicking, trapping, striking) K-4 : Stretching, running, use of pedometers, football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, frisbee, scooters, hula hoops, SpinJammers, tag games. *Locomotion: Demonstrate fundamental locomotion skills while participating in a physical activity. *The continuous development and practice of skills to ensure individual success of physical activities *Describe how heart rate is used to monitor exercise intensity. *Demonstrate proper eye/hand, eye football coordination.
