Purpose of Workshop The purpose of this study was to organize the Brazil- Joint Workshop on Adhesive Dentistry 2017 for activating the exchange of the Brazil- young researchers through their oral/poster presentations, receptions and visiting of Campinas, Piracicaba Dental School (in the city of Piracicaba) and of São Paulo, Dental School (city of São Paulo). 3. 8. Please describe the achievements of the workshop. Total 329 participants, including the researchers, graduate students and clinicians from the whole Brazil, participated the workshop. The coordinators and mentors from the ese and Brazilian sides presented their keynote lectures with the different subjects on Adhesive Dentistry, including the background and future prospect, collaborative research projects and advanced knowledge and technique in Operative Dentistry, Prosthetic Dentistry and Dental Materials. The ese and Brazilian young researchers presented their original papers in oral/poster sessions. The topics covered laboratory studies and also clinical studies on new materials and technique. They engaged deep discussion about their research topics and also shared the plenty time through the workshop receptions. The ese participants also visited both of Campinus, Piracicaba and of São Paulo, which were the wonderful experiences to understand the educational and research activities in Brazilian dental schools. Through the current workshop, it is strongly expected that ese and Brazilian young researchers will expand their international network and develop the research collaboration in the future.

All lectures were very interesting and meaningful. The mentor s lectures were all meaningful. They stimulated my spirit. The good collaboration between Brazilian and ese researchers The least successful aspect of this workshop (if possible, suggestion for improvement): Poster viewing time was unsufficient.

Language barrier (non-native speakers) Meeting important researcher, and learning about new methodology to evaluate dental materials. The least successful aspect of this work shop was the organizations for poster presentations. It was too full of people and noising with little time and space. The time and location for poster presentation. More focus in research Other comments: The workshop was very good and improve my knowledge about adhesion.
