Players and Parents, LNE FOOTBALL OFFSEASON WORKOUT EXPECTATIONS AND CALENDAR Starting on Jan 4 the football program will be conducting offseason workouts after school. These workouts are vital to our development as football players. They are the basis for which we will build our team and our team cohesion next year. Attendance at these workouts is required. Key points. Attending the after school workout is required unless you are in a winter sport. 2. Each player is still expected to take a weight training class or attend E. workouts are a last resort for lifting. 3. Players need to have workout clothes and athletic shoes on all workout days 4. The calendar with this document is both a functional calendar of the scheduled times and an example of what is expected out of each day. Meaning you as a player should attend and give maximum effort on listed events EVERYDAY! 5. This calendar is accurate through spring break barring unforeseen circumstances (events at the school that don t allow us a space). After spring break the calendar will be updated and resubmitted. Please use any dates past spring break solely as a guideline. If there are conflicts please notify Coach Christensen via Hudl Messenger or email at lchrist2@lps.org. Any day missed without an APPROVED absence will be counted against you towards our Playoff Player ranking, playing time, and status on the football team. I cannot emphasize enough that failure to attend these workouts will have negative effects on the player and the team. Conversely regular attendance and great effort will ensure player and team success. Please call or email with any questions.
