Bennett, Ph.D. Stage 1: Denial f Difference As lng as we all speak the same language, there s n prblem. Stage 2: Defense Against Difference When yu g t ther cultures, it makes yu realize hw much better ur wn culture is. Defense/Reversal: Tendency t see anther culture as superir while maligning ne s wn.
