Summer MixMatch 2016 with Project Twelve:31 We ve packed this summer full of activities for you to get involved in. Some will make you think, some will make you sweat and others might just challenge you to try something new And it s all for FREE!

It s all about balance 1 RED SESSION = 1 BLUE SESSION Red activities collect skills and knowledge for the future; help you make good choices and can even look good on your CV! Blue sessions are a mixture of fun and games - it is the holidays after all! Why not have a go at something new? Looking for an extra challenge? Purple sessions are volunteering roles or community projects you can get involved in. Not available until week 3 and only for those with excellent attitude and behaviour.

Consent if under 16 Parental or guardian consent in required for under 16s attending the Summer sessions. Parents should understand that it is their responsibility to arrange safe travel of their child to and from activities. You should check that the activities are suitable for the age and ability of your child. You must let us know if there are any heath issues that we should be aware of. Staff and volunteers delivering 1 to 1 sessions with young people are DBS checked and subject to their organisation s safeguarding policies. Some sessions may be unsupervised, for example swimming sessions at Halifax Pool. Parents are welcome to stay at any of the activities with their child. We welcome help from parent volunteers! Think Safe, Be Safe, Stay Safe This online course is ideal for peer mentors, baby sitters and work placements. It will help to raise awareness of the signs of abuse and neglect and understand when and who to report concerns to. Book a one hour slot with Karen at either Mixenden or Beechwood Library! This is a 1 hour session to help you think about your strengths and skills, what you care about and how you can contribute! Bake Off with Kim!
