3 An Early Intervention Program for Young Children with ADHD: Promoting Positive Developmental Outcomes (PI: Andrea Chronis-Tuscano, Ph.D.) Role: Research Assistant Coordinated and conducted pre-treatment, post-treatment and follow-up assessments for parents and children ages years, which included diagnostic interviews using the KSADS, administration of the Emotion Regulation Questionnaire, observed parent-child interactions, and paper parent and teacher questionnaires. Assisted in the preparation of manuscripts and conference presentations, including writing syntax and running analyses with SPSS and Excel. Assisted in data management and helped oversee data scoring, entry, and reconciliation. Developed weekly daily report cards for each child, and developed individualized behavior programs when indicated. Provided parents with daily feedback about child progress and behaviors and wrote treatment reports at the end of the program. Supervised five undergraduate and post-baccalaureate paraprofessional counselors. Assist in the coordination of Interview Weekend for prospective graduate students Present Maryland Psychological Association Graduate Students Undergraduate Mentorship Program The MPAGS Undergraduate Mentorship Program focuses on pairing current psychology graduate students with undergraduate students in order to provide undergraduates with support and guidance in their pursuit of graduate education and psychology-related careers 2018-Present University of Maryland Psychology Honors Alumni Mentoring, Co-Leader University of Maryland Psychology Honors Alumni Mentoring, Volunteer Mentor Emphasis of the program is to provide current Psychology Honors students with additional guidance outside of their research laboratory. Support focuses on students current research endeavors as well as their future goals (e.g., obtaining post-baccalaureate positions and applying for graduate school). As a co-leader, establish mentor-mentee pairings and inform mentors and mentees of professional development opportunities. Assisted in maintaining membership, maintaining the website, planning the biennial conference, maintaining the listerv, and organizing conference submissions, reviews, and notifications University of Maryland Clinical Psychology Website Committee Served as a committee member.
