Has limited plant systemic activity, but exhibits translaminar movement. It is used to control of motile stages of mites, leaf miners, suckers, colorado beetles, etc. on apple, avocados, citrus fruit, cucurbit veg, fruiting veg, grapes, herb crops, hops, leafy veg, mint, pears, stone fruit, tuber veg. 6 Crop tolerance: ABAMECTIN 8 % has a wide margin of safety on a variety of crops. Target Crops As we indicate above, the target crops for the use of the insecticide ABAMECTIN 1.8 are the followings: Cotton plant, Celery, Citrus trees, Blackberry-raspberry cane, rnamental specimens, Pear tree, Tomato, Cucumbers, strawberry plant and pepper. Mode of action: The Abamectin acts by stimulating the release of γ-aminobutyric acid, an inhibitory neurotransmitter, thus causing paralysis. 7 Empty packaging and reamanins of product should be disposed of in a responsible manner following all legal requirements. Ensure that insecticide concentrations within the work environment are always within danger-free tolerances. Symptoms: Symptoms of over exposure: Signs and symptoms of excessive exposure to ABAMECTIN may be pupil dilation, vomiting, convulsions and/or tremors, and coma. At very high doses, it can affect mammals, causing symptoms of nervous system depression such as incoordination, tremors, lethargy, excitation, and pupil dilation. Very high doses can cause death from respiratory failure. First aid: Eye contact: Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for min. Remove contact lenses, if present, after 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a doctor. Skin contact: if on skin or clothing, take off contaminated clothing. Rinse skin immediately with plenty of water for 15-20minutes. Call a doctors. Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. Recommended complete rest for the victim. Mantain corporal temperature.
