2 Other Ingredients: Aromatic petroleum solvent containing 1,2,4 trimethylbenzene (90.3%); CAS # HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS Eyes: This material is mildly irritating in rabbit eye irritation studies. A similar degree of irritation will probably occur after human eye contact. Skin: This material is moderately irritating in rabbit dermal irritation studies and was classified as a mild skin sensitizer. Skin exposures may cause a skin sensation called paresthesia which is usually described as tingling, itching, burning, prickling, glowing, flushing, numbness or a chapped feeling. Symptoms usually occur around the face (mouth and eyes) but may involve the arms or hands. Symptoms may develop shortly after exposure or can be delayed up to four hours and can persist between 2 and 30 hours following contact. There is no evidence of any long-term or cumulative effects on the skin. The effect may result from transferring the material to the face from contaminated gloves and hands. The dermal LD50 was above 2000 mg/kg in rats. Systemically toxic concentrations of this product will probably not be absorbed through human skin. Ingestion: The acute oral LD50 in rats is above 5000 mg/kg to males and females. This material is classified as very low toxicity by ingestion. In humans, severe gastrointestinal disturbance is associated with ingestion of the hydrocarbon solvent. Ingestion of excessive quantities can also induce signs of central nervous system depression (e.g., dizziness, drowsiness, loss of coordination, and fatigue). Small amounts of the hydrocarbon solvent, if aspirated into the lungs during ingestion or subsequent vomiting, may induce severe lung congestion resulting in labored breathing, coma, and death. Inhalation: The 4-hr LC50 for this material in the rat is greater than 4.62 mg/l. This material is considered moderately toxic by inhalation. At high concentrations, vapors or aerosols of the solvent can produce respiratory and central nervous system depression, headache, dizziness, and nausea. 4. FIRST AID MEASURES EYES: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical attention. SKIN: Quickly remove person from exposure. Remove contaminated clothing at once and wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Obtain medical attention. INGESTION: If victim is alert and not convulsing, rinse mouth out and give ml (1 cup) of water to dilute material. OBTAIN MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY. Vomiting should only be induced under the direction of a physician or a Poison Control Center. If spontaneous vomiting occurs, have victim lean forward with head down to avoid breathing in of vomitus, rinse mouth and administer more water. Immediately transport victim to an emergency facility. INHALATION: Quickly remove person from exposure. If not breathing, give artificial respiration, preferably mouth-to-mouth. If breathing is labored, give oxygen. OBTAIN MEDICAL ATTENTION IMMEDIATELY.

3 NOTE TO PHYSICIAN: Emesis may be indicated in the alert patient who has ingested large (intentional) quantity. Lavage is indicated for the obtunded patient who has ingested such a large dose. Hydrocarbon pneumonitis is a risk if this product is aspirated. 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES FLAMMABLE PROPERTIES Flash Point: Above 212øF (100øC) by Setaflash Autoignition: N/A Lower Explosive Limit (%): N/A Upper Explosive Limit (%): N/A FIRE AND EXPLOSION HAZARDS: In a fire situation, the product may support combustion after its water content has boiled off. Heating will generate toxic vapors. EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Dry chemical, foam, carbon dioxide, halogenated agents. FIRE FIGHTING INSTRUCTIONS: Firefighters should wear full-face, self-contained breathing apparatus and impervious protective clothing. If not leaking, keep fire-exposed containers cool with water spray to prevent rupture due to excessive heat. High-pressure water hose may spread product from broken containers increasing contamination or fire hazard. Contaminated building areas and equipment must not be used until they are properly decontaminated. Where possible, keep runoff from the fire from entering surface waters or drains. The active ingredient is expected to be highly toxic to fish by analogy to other pyrethroid compounds. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED: Make sure all personnel involved in the cleanup follow good industrial hygiene practices. A small spill can be handled routinely. Use adequate ventilation or wear an air-supplied respirator to prevent inhalation. Wear suitable protective clothing and eye protection to prevent skin and eye contact. Use the following procedures. Do not allow material to enter streams, sewers, or other waterways. Spread a suitable absorbent, such as clay on the spill, and shovel into an open drum. Generously cover the contaminated areas with common, household detergent. Using a stiff brush and small amounts of water, work the detergent into the remaining spilled material forming a slurry. Brush the slurry into cracks and crevices and allow to stand for 2-3 minutes. Be careful to completely avoid skin or eye contact. Do not splatter on self or bystanders. Spread absorbent on the slurry liquid and shovel mixture into the open drum. Repeat #3 and #4 if necessary. Rinse with small amount of water and use absorbent to collect the wash solution. Shovel into the open drum. Seal drum and dispose of contaminated material in a facility permitted for hazardous waste. Large spills should be handled according to a spill plan. Otherwise, in case of emergency, call day or night CHEMTREC. THIS PRODUCT IS HIGHLY TOXIC TO AQUATIC ORGANISMS. Do not apply directly to water. Do not contaminate water by cleaning of equipment or disposal of wastes. 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE HANDLING PRECAUTIONS: Prevent skin and eye contact. Observe OSHA PEL limitations. Avoid breathing vapors or aerosols. WORK/HYGIENIC PRACTICES: Workers should shower and change to fresh clothing after each shift. A sensitized individual should not be exposed to the product that caused the sensitization. Do not store near feed, food, or within the reach of children. Containers should be stored in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from flammable materials and sources of heat or flame. Exercise

4 due caution to prevent damage to or leakage from the container. 8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION ENGINEERING CONTROLS: If needed, use local exhaust ventilation to keep airborne concentrations below the TLV. EYE/FACE PROTECTION: Eye contact with the material should be avoided through the use of chemical safety glasses, goggles, or a face shield, selected in regard to exposure potential. SKIN PROTECTION: This product is FIFRA regulated. Refer to the product labeling for required enduser personal protection equipment. Skin contact should be prevented through use of impervious gloves, footwear, long-sleeved clothing, and wide-brimmed hat. Remove contaminated clothing and wash before rewearing. Wash separately from other laundry. RESPIRATORY PROTECTION: When needed, use MSHA/NIOSH approved respirator for pesticides. OTHER/GENERAL PROTECTION: An adequate supply of clean potable water should be available to allow thorough flushing of skin and eyes in event of contact with this compound. 9. PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL PROPERTIES APPEARANCE: Off-white liquid with slight odor typical of aromatic petroleum solvent. This product is composed of microcapsules of lambdacyhalothrin suspended in water. The microcapsules also contain a solvent. BASIC PHYSICAL PROPERTIES Physical State: Liquid Boiling Point: >212øF, >100øC Melting Point: N/A Vapor Pressure (mm HG at 20øC): 1.5x10-9 (Lambdacyhalothrin tech.) Vapor Density (AIR=1): N/A Specific Gravity: 20øC Molecular Weight: N/A Solubility (H2O): Readily dispersible in water. Percent Volatiles: N/A Viscosity: N/A 10. STABILITY AND REACTIVITY STABILITY: Stable under normal conditions. CONDITIONS TO AVOID (STABILITY): Not known. HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS: Combustion products: Carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxides, ammonia, trace amounts of hydrogen cyanide. HAZARDOUS POLYMERIZATION: Will not occur. 11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION (CONTINUED) Inhalation Effects: Moderately toxic by inhalation. MISCELLANEOUS TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION Effects Of Overexposure: Ingestion may produce nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, and diarrhea. Large doses ingested may cause disturbance of the nervous system. Facial skin tingling has been described after contact with the active ingredient. This description of toxicological properties is based on experimental results and experience with the material. 12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION THIS PRODUCT IS EXTREMELY TOXIC TO AQUATIC ORGANISMS. 13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS PRODUCT DISPOSAL: Do not contaminate waterways by cleaning of equipment or by disposal of wastes. Untreated effluent should not be discharged where it will drain into lakes, streams, or ponds. Discarded product is not a hazardous waste under RCRA CFR 261. CONTAINER DISPOSAL: Remove all product residue and puncture or otherwise destroy empty container before disposal. 14. TRANSPORT INFORMATION SHIPPING PAPER DESCRIPTION: N/A 15.
