SECTION 4: FIRST AID MEASURES 4.1. Description of first aid measures General information When symptoms persist or in all cases of doubt seek medical advice. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Place unconscious person on the side in the recovery position and ensure breathing can take place. SECTION 7: HANDLING AND STORAGE 7.1. Precautions for safe handling Persons with a history of skin sensitisation problems should not be employed in any process in which this preparation is used. Use only in well-ventillated areas. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothes. Do not inhale dusts, particulates and spray mists when using this preparation. Avoid respiratin of swarf. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product. Do not empty containers with pressure - no pressure vessel. Always keep containers made of the same material as the supply container Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. Keep in original container. Store in tightly closed original container in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place. Observe label precautions Never use pressure to empty; container is not a pressure vessel. Keep upright. Store in a well-ventillated and dry room at temperatures between 5 and 35 degrees centigrade. Protect from heat and direct sunlight Specific end use(s) Usage Description Handle in well ventillated areas. Avoid skin and eye contact. Avoid the inhalation of dust, particulates and spary misrt arising from the application of this preparation. Avoid inhalation of dust from sanding. Remarks for the production of food stuff: Not suitable for varnishing food stuff and other sensitive packaging. This applies to secondary packaging too, unless a barrier avoids migration of substances to th content. Before the finished secondary packaging is bough into circulation corrpesponding migration tests shall be conducted. SECTION 8: EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION 8.1. Control parameters 8.2. Exposure controls Engineering measures Provide adequate ventilation. This can be achieved by local or room suction. If this should not be sufficient to keep aerosol and solvent vapour concentration below the exposure limit values, suitable respiratory protection must be used. Respiratory equipment If concentration of solvents is beyond the occupations exposure limit values, approved and suitable respiratory protection must be used. Use only respiratory protection equipment with CE symbol including four digit test number. Hand protection For prolonged or repeated handling the following glove material must be used: Material of Gloves : Nitrile Rubber, NBR - penetration time depends on different criteria and may be determined by the manufacturer according to DIN Thickness of the glove material > 0.4mm; penetration time (maximum wearing period) > 480 min. Observe the instructions and details for use, storage, maintenance and replacement provided by the protective glove manufacturer. Penetration time of glove material dependant on intensity and duration of exposure to skin. Recommended glove articles: DIN EN 374. Barrier creams can help protecting exposed skin areas. In no case should they be used after contact. Eye protection Use safety goggles and face shield in case of splash risk. 4 / 7

5 Skin protection Personnel should wear antistatic clothing made of natural fibres or of high-temperature resistant synthetic fibres. All parts of the skin should be washed after contact. The preparation has been assessed following the conventional method of the Dangerous Preparations Directive 1999/45/EC and classified for toxicological hazards accordingly. See sections 2 and 15 for details Acrylate components of the preparation have irritating properties. Prolonged or repeated contact with skin or mucous membrane may result in irritation symptoms such as redness, blistering, dermatitis etc. Cases of allergic skin reactions have been observed.
