5 Changes fr ICD O-3 fr 2016 Diagnsed Cases ICD-O-3 IMPLEMENTATION AND REPORTABILITY In 2014 and 2015 SEER added new reprtable histlgy terms t their Prgram and Cding Manual. These terms had nt been included in any ICD-O-3 errata r implementatin guide and therefre were nt addressed thrughut the cancer surveillance cmmunity. CDC has reviewed the terms (reprtable accrding t SEER) and made the fllwing decisins: 1. Nn-invasive mucinus cystic neplasm f the pancreas with high-grade dysplasia replaces mucinus cystadencarcinma, nn-invasive (8470/2) and is REPORTABLE. 2. Slid pseudpapillary neplasm f pancreas (8452/3) is synnymus with slid pseudpapillary carcinma (C25._) and is REPORTABLE. 3. Based n expert pathlgist cnsultatin, metastases have been reprted in sme cystic pancreatic endcrine neplasm (CPEN) cases. With all ther pancreatic endcrine tumrs nw cnsidered malignant, CPEN will als be cnsidered malignant, until prven therwise. Mst CPEN cases are nn-functining and are REPORTABLE using histlgy cde 8150/3, unless the tumr is specified as a neurendcrine tumr, grade 1 (assign cde 8240/3) r neurendcrine tumr, grade 2 (assign cde 8249/3) 4. Laryngeal intraepithelial neplasia, grade III (LINIII) (8077/2), C320-C329) is REPORTABLE. 5. Squamus intraepithelial neplasia, grade III (SINIII) (8077/2), except Cervix and Skin, is REPORTABLE. 6. Mature teratma f the testes in adults is malignant and REPORTABLE as 9080/3, but cntinues t be nnreprtable in prepubescent children (9080/0). The fllwing prvides additinal guidance: Adult is defined as pst puberty Pubescence can take place ver a number f years D nt rely slely n age t indicate pre r pst puberty status. Review all infrmatin (physical histry, etc.) fr dcumentatin f pubertal status. When testicular teratmas ccur in adult males, pubescent status is likely t be stated in the medical recrd because it is an imprtant factr f the diagnsis. D nt reprt if unknwn whether patient is pre r pst pubescence. When testicular teratma ccurs in a male and there is n mentin f pubescence, it is likely that the patient is a child, r pre-pubescent, and the tumr is benign.
