She studied Biology in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH) and holds a PhD in Immunogenetics of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL, 2006). Since September 2006, she is a postdoc in INAB/CERTH in close cooperation with the Molecular Biology Lab of the Department of Hematology and Transplantation Unit of G. Papanicolaou Hospital, Thessaloniki, Greece. Since November 2017 she is a Senior Researcher at the Institute of Applied Biosciences (INAB/CERTH) where she continues her research activities on the field of immunobiology and genetics by NGS methodologies for the detection of new biomarkers. She is responsible for the node of biobanks at INAB part of the European Infrastructure of BBMRI-ERIC (Biobanking and BioMolecular resources Research Infrastructure - European Research Infrastructure Consortium). Since 2016 she is responsible for the management of Real world Evidence and the accreditation of diagnostics tests in The European Research Initiative on Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, a working group of the European Hematology Association.
