1 Yo También is about two men that were in love with the same woman. The song won the Best music video International at the Music Video Awards. Check out How to Review Songs for the recommended method to learn this song and improve your Spanish. First Verse Quién eres tú, Who are you para alardear y presumir? mejor pregúntale a ella to brag and show off? You better ask her Key Words Alardear Show off Retarme Dare me Infame Despicable Éxtasis Ecstasy Alegas Allege Quién es el hombre que la eleva a las estrellas? Who s the man that takes her to the stars? Quién de los dos la hizo sentirse más mujer Which one of us made her feel more like a woman Quién eres tú para retarme Who are you to dare me a hacer de ella una competencia? To compete over her? Así aseguro que es infame lo que alegas That way I assure you that it s despicable what you allege Fui su éxtasis intenso de placer I was her intense ecstasy of pleasure
2 CHORUS Yo también Me too La amé con mis locuras de poeta y moría por ella I loved her with the craziness of a poet, and I used to die for her Key Words Entregué Gave her Alumbraba Brighten Pasión Passion Sábanas Sheets Yo también Me too Le ofrecí un amor a lo Romeo y Julieta I offered her a love like Romeo and Juliet Yo también la amé I loved her too Y le entregué el alma I gave her my soul Con una sonrisa alumbraba mis mañanas With a smile she used to brighten my mornings Yo también sentí que ella fue mi todo Me too I felt that she was my everything No sólo pasión entre las sábanas mojadas Not only passion between the wet sheets
3 SECOND VERSE Habla Talk Quién eres tú Who are you Key Words Dueño owner Superior - Superior De veras For real Navegué Sailed para sentirte superior, dueño de ella? to feel superior, her owner? A ti te quiso, a mí me amó algo de veras She cared about you, but she was in love with me for real Como Colón yo navegué toda su piel Like Colombus I sailed all of her skin Explanations The word dueño is used in relationships. It s a way of saying that you own that person s heart and affection. In English we might say I am her man or I am his woman. In spanish we express love in two ways: te quiero and te amo. Te amo is a stronger or more intense love than te quiero. When he says, a ti te quiso (she loved you) but a mí me amó (she was in love with me). CORO Repeats

7 Spanish You Can Use 1) Me Too, Me Either The title of this song, yo también, can be used in everyday conversation. The opposite is yo tampoco (me neither). Examples: -Me encanta la comedia. -Yo también -I love comedies. -Me too. -No me gusta pescado. -Yo tampoco. -I don t like fish. -Me neither. 2) Expressing Love If you are talking to someone, you can say te quiero (I love you) or te amo (I love you). Te amo has a stronger meaning than te quiero. Now, if you are talking about someone else, you would say La amo (I love her) or Lo amo (I love him). 3) To Assure Aseguro (I assure) can be used in conversation to express certainty or lack of doubt. It can be used in general conversation when talking to someone to add emphasis when you are expressing a fact. Example: Te aseguro que es la verdad. I assure you that it s the truth.
