5 What Does People Do Today? They use WIPES / Industrial Wipes They use HANDRUB only (Desinfektion / Ethanol) They use NOTHING- or their Jeans They USE A SINK by the client, drive to their own offices etc. OR they have a competing product (See later) 05
6 The Wipes Health: Most WIPES contains small amounts of preservatives (MI, Parabenes etc.) Many of these are causing chronic allergies especially MI have been known for this Of several types we have checked parabenes are on the warning lists of the Danish Allergy association (Astma Allergiforbundet). When you use WIPES, although the doses these chemicals are used in are not illegal, the chemical stays on you hand ALL DAY. Cost: Typcial Industrial type wetwipes will cost anything between 8 and 20 Eurocent. With dirty fingers you will minimum 2 or 3. This means your cost per hand wash is somewhere between 24 and Eurocent per handwash. With ShoulderSink (after investing in the unit) your price per handwash is around 5 Eurocent including the water (3,17 Eurocent for 2 pumps of handcleaner which is our most expensive product) If you wash hands 4 times per day your investment is paid back in less than 3 months. The Healthiest option is also the cheapest and will save you money every day! 06
7 Nothing For customers without any access to hand hygiene the upsides are obvious: Meet your clients with clean hands (Better impression better bottom line for the company) Regular hand hygiene is one of the best ways to stay clear of infections and virus => less sick days and better quality of life => win win situation Specific to certain jobs and industries it is mandatory to offer handhygiene options for the employees (In Denmark these could be Firemen on duty, Streetfood vendors, Gardeners, Anyone with dirty hands on the job before they have lunch, Vetenarians working in the field.etc) Paypack time: 1 saved sickday (30-40% of all sickdays are preventable) 07
8 Handrub Hand rub (Desinfektionsmittel) is great. But only if you already have clean hands!! See the following research: Alcohol based hand sanitizer is a great alternative to washing your hands if you have no access to soap and water, your hands are not visibly soiled and you understand that it does not kill germs such as MRSA, salmonella, e. coli and norovirus ( Research show that soap and water is better for removing bacteria and virus than Wipes or Handrubs ( and Quote: Sanitizing gels are no match for soap and water Both WHO and CDC (US Centre for Disease Controle) recommend cleaning hands with soap and water, before using hand rub / sanitizers (when hands are visibly dirty). That is why we ALSO sell a Handrub. Just make sure to wash your fingers BEFORE you use Handrub! 07
9 Using Shoulder Sink Many mobile professionals use fixed installations for handhygiene (Homerepair prof., homecare workers, salespeople, installers) More of our customers have to drive to their offices (the law says) to wash fingers before lunch.
