8 Current conditions in rural China Village health stations are equipped with very simple instruments -unable to carry out laboratory tests for disease confirmation Doctors lack the necessary experience and up to date knowledge required for the identification and diagnosis of infectious diseases Most rural people live at lower socio-economic levels Have closer contact with wild animals and poultry 11

26 Experiences of outbreaks Two different outbreaks has been detected in Nov 2012 Chicken pocs and InfluenzaB These two outbreaks not detected in existing monthly reporting system in complete China (decreased in one week) 37
