2 Suzan Micheal BSF#ES201KF Suzan is a 48 years old south Sudanese refugee who has been in Uganda for more than 10 years now she has 7 children and the husband lives in south Sudan and works there. she said their main water source is a shallow well that the family dug in the compound so she added that typhoid and stomach ache are the most common sickness that the family members suffer frequently. Suzan also said she spends about 100,000 to 150,000 shillings after every two months due to typhoid and stomach ache so she said she is very happy to have acquired a bio-sand filter for her family to rescue them from these sicknesses.

The family used to be effected with typhoid, diarrhea and skin infection as they have been drinking from open well. She happy to receive the new filter so that the can drink safe water
4 Amule joseph BSF Number 203KF On 27/04/2017 filter No. 203 was installed at the home of Amule Joseph by kambagiri in Anuyfira village. Amule is 30 years old business man who used to operate in south sudan but because of the instability he is taking a refuge, he said 3 ofhis children have all been suffering from typhoid and stomach ache in the past two months which has made him spent about shillings for treatment he also added that the main water sources they use is stream, open well which are all not safe for the health but they are forced to drink it because of a condition there for he concluded by very much thanking the office of kambagiri for rescuing the community from the rampant waterborne diseases in their community.
5 UNDO MAKA BSF Number 269 KF Undo Maka is a 50 year old resident of Loki village she unemployed having 6 children and she depends on a small scale cultivation for survival. She said they have not been treating or even boiling water, she also added that main water source they use is a river where by it is not clean. Maka said her four children have suffered stomach pain and diarrhea in the past two weeks and she has spent about 100,000 Uganda shillings for the treatment. She attended training on how to use the filter well she also said that she is happy to have acquired a bio-sand filter to help her family members.
6 CHANDIGA ZUBER BSF Number 270 KF Chandiga is a 30 year old resident of wani village she unemployed taking care of 15 family members and she depends on a small scale cultivation for survival. he added that main water source they use is a river and stream where by it is not clean especially during rainy seasons. chandiga said her two children have suffered stomach pain and diarrhea in the past two weeks and he has spent about 50,000 Uganda shillings for the treatment. He also said that she is happy to have acquired a bio-sand filter to help her family members and promised to pay the fee.
7 ADINAN SWADIK BSF Number 271 On 29/06/2017 filter No.271 was installed by kambagiri at the home of Adinan in jomoni village. He is 28 years old, unemployed he is taking care of 6 family members. He said the main water source is protected stream water, Adnan also said in the past two months he has spent about 200,000 shillings for typhoid medication. He promised to pay the commitment fee. He thanked KF for helping his family.
8 RATIB BRAN BSF Number 272 Ratib is 30years old resident who lives in Loki village and take care of 10 family members. Robert got information on from a VHT a village health worker he got the importance of the bio-sand filter. He is not employed just a peasant farmer, Ratib said the main water source is an open well where they share with the animals and the family members have been suffering from diseases such as typhoid, stomach ache and other water borne diseases.
9 ALIYONZI SWAIB BSF Number 273 KF On 29/6/2017 filter No.209 was installed by kambagiri at the home of Alyonzi in Jomoni village. He is 32 years old, and she is taking care of 8 family members. He said the main water source is river and stream water, Swaib also said in the past three months he has spent about 50,000 shillings for typhoid medication. he promised to pay the commitment fee. She thanked KF for rescuing her family to get out of waterborne diseases.
10 AMUZA MUHAMAD BSF Number 274 KF On 05/05/2017 filter number 274 was installed by kambagiri foundation in the home of Amuza in Loki village Nyai parish Abuku sub-county. Amuza was one of the person who impressed the program of the BSF when the office went for sensitization meeting in Loki village, he is unemployed but depend on subsistence farming he also said the most common water borne disease water borne diseases such as typhoid, diarrhea and worms are always witnessed, Amuza is very happy for Kambagiri for saving their lives.
11 Santos Kenyi filter number 296 KF Santos is 50 years old educated who worked in Koboko district some years back in the health department said when the team from safe water went for mobilization he did not attend to them because he had some commitment. But when he consulted the community health agent (CHA) he picked interest and called the team for the safe water project in Koboko to consult whether he can have one bio-sand filter to help his family out of the water borne diseases that have always been common at home. Later the team assessed and later installed the filter to his home.
12 Wayi.P. Fred Number 297 KF On the 20/07/2017, a team of safe water project installed filter number 297 to Fred s home in Ilale village koboko north in ludara sub county. Wayi is able man taking care of 7 family members, he said the main water source they drink from an open well and a stream which turns muddy especially when it rains, he also added that they share the water source with animals which has brought a lot of sicknesses at his home so he emphasized if the safe water project officials could support their community which is mostly neglected and has no proper source of water they would be very happy, Fred finally said he has really thanked the team for safe water for this great initiative of bringing natural way of treating water.
13 SUZAN AJITI FILTER NUMBER 298 KF Suzan Ajiti Jane is 58 year old woman who lives in Indiga central. She is an unemployed vulnerable woman; Suzan said she lives with four other family members. She also said the main water source is an hand pump where in some times very early in the morning the water comes with a lot of iron content which she believes is harm full to the family s health in the long run family members have been suffering from diseases such as stomach ache, typhoid, dysentery which she said needs money for treatment and she has no money and no energy for doing work for money. She finally said the she hopes that all the waterborne diseases in her family shall be able to come to an end.
14 Meta Isaac Number 299KF Meta Isaac is 32 a peasant farmer taking care of 9 family members. Meta said the main source they drink is open well and sallow well the distance from the sallow is about 3kilo meters. Sometime they drink the muddy water like hence the prevalence of the borne diseases are very high in home were he said he used in July, 2017 only more than for treating typhoid. He is very happy to receive the new filter which is going to make drink clean water and reduce the prevalence of water born disease in his family. Thanks to kambagiri foundation
15 YOSA ROJERS Filter number 300 On 20/07/2017 filter No. 300 was installed by kambagiri at the home of Yosa Rogers in Indiga central village He is 28 years old, a peasant farmer, taking care of 8 family members out of the 8 family his mother and father are all included. He said the main water source of water is open well and he will be using the water for drinking, and bathing. Yosa also said the water borne diseases are very common that she has ever treated people at home. For example typhoid, diarrhea and worms where he spend more than in three month. He thanked kambagiri for helping his family to get out of waterborne diseases
16 DRAKU GASPHER Filter number 301 Drakua resident of Ajugi village Ludara sub-county is 40 years old, a peasant farmer taking care of 18 family members were 5 children are for his late brother. draku said he spend a lot of money for treating disease like typhoid, diarrhea, skin diseases and worms due to the dirty water they used especially from open well were they share it with the animals hence worms are very common his family. He said in June he used around for treating 6 family members. he also said he is very happy with the new technology KF bringing to the village. He is going to impress it so that he can save money for paying his depends in school.
