3 Protective measures on the border with Russia and Belarus 100% documentary and physical checks for returning livestock vehicles from Belarus by verifying details in the declaration and vehicle conformity with the rules, notably cleanness (since ) The compulsory disinfection of animal and feed trucks and equipment is in place (since ) The extension of protective measures in the form of compulsory disinfection in 8 BIPs and 4 border crossing points with the RU and BY are as follows (since ): a) disinfection of footwear of all incoming persons crossing the border b) disinfection of wheels of all incoming vehicles and trucks. Disinfection activities were interupted in a mid December! 3

12 Surveillance and laboratory tests Increased passive + active surveillance in a bordering area with Russia and Belarus (currently defined also as CSF infected area): in domestic pig population; wild boars found dead and hunted are subject to additional laboratory testing to the ASF virus presence. 12
