3 Data governance The data governance document describes data changes introduced in this release as of the publication date of this document. Process change for release and maintenance notifications As of February 1, 2018, Veeva is no longer managing lists for release and maintenance notifications. To receive these types of notifications, go to trust.veeva.com and subscribe to notifications for each product. At the top of the page, click Subscribe to Veeva Trust Site. You can also subscribe to the PODs for all scheduled downtime, release announcements, and outage notifications. For more information, see In-to-System-Availability-Notifications-. If you have questions or require additional details, contact Veeva Support. Adding new fields to your Veeva OpenData subscription When Veeva OpenData adds new fields to a country that you are subscribed to, you can add the field to the subscription so that it's ready to receive data and be mastered by Veeva OpenData. For information about adding new Veeva OpenData fields to your subscription, see the topic called Adding Veeva OpenData fields in the Veeva Network Online Help: Enabling Veeva OpenData fields for extended use Veeva OpenData fields can be enabled to load local or third party master data. A field can be Veevamastered in some countries, mastered by a third party source in other countries, or be owned by a customer in the remaining countries. Administrators can view ownership of the data model fields, by country, in the Network user interface by navigating to Data Model > Network Data Model. For more information about enabling Veeva OpenData fields for local or third party data use source, see the topic called Enabling data model fields in the Veeva Network Online Help. 3
