6 Affiliations & Approvals The Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), New Delhi have given approval for running BASLP & MASLP courses from 2014 to 2016 batches after conducting inspection last year. NAISH had applied to Bangalore University for recognition as Research Center in the field of ASLP with Ph.D course.

8 Academic Achievements Three students of BASLP course have secured ranks in Top 10 in their final examinations in Ms. Najma Banu is the 4 th Ranker of Bangalore University in BASLP Course for the year New tie ups with Spastic Society of Karnataka, Bangalore & Amplifon India Pvt Ltd, for clinical training during internship and serving the children with communication disorders. Extended support for Research activities at the institute.

9 Academic activities Dr. Sunil Kumar. Ravi, is member of Board of Studies (BOS) & Board of Examination (BOE) for UG, PG, and Ph.D courses in Speech & Hearing. Five of the faculty members are involved in valuation work in Bangalore University examinations of BASLP/ MASLP/ B.S.Ed(HI) courses.

12 Clinical Services Provided hearing assessment services to more than 2500 patients of Victoria Hospital, Bangalore in collaboration with ENT Department in the reported academic year of at low cost for the needy people. Provided hearing assessment services to more than 3000 patients of Victoria Hospital, Bangalore in collaboration with ENT Department in the reported academic year

13 Clinical Services NAISH has been providing hearing assessment services to more than 30,000 people from The institute is also providing free Speech Language Therapy and Audiological services at the institute for needy people. At institute, we have given more than 3000 speech therapy sessions to children and adults with communication disorders in

16 Speech & Hearing Camp at NGV Naseema Institute of Speech & Hearing, Bangalore conducted a free Speech and Hearing camp at National Games Village, Koramangala, Bangalore on 25 th, January, Several people have benefitted from this camp.

17 Satsang Foundation-Swasthya Kendra, Madanapalle, Andhra Pradesh. NAISH has been the one of the Eight hospitals & Clinics including AIIMS, New Delhi, NIMHANS, Bangalore, & BGS Global Hospitals, Bangalore in Annual Health Camp of Swasthya Kendra of Satsang Foundation, Madanapalle on 25 th & 26 th, Feb, NAISH has provided speech & hearing screening services to 210 children of Satsang Vidyalaya & Satsang Rural (Tribal) school in Madanapalle & Sadum, Andhra Pradesh. NAISH has also provided speech & hearing services to needy public in Madanapalle.

20 Hearing Screening camps at Wipro, Bangalore. NAISH has collaborated with M/s Technoassociates Pvt Ltd, Bangalore to provide Hearing screening to all the new employees of Wipro MNC, Electronic City, Bangalore from December, Till date, we have screened 200 employees in three camps in & 350 clients in the year

21 Speech & Hearing camp at Hosur, Tamil Nadu Conducted Speech and Hearing camp at Hosur Industrial Area to identify people with speech and hearing disorders. Conducted on 19 th & 20 th, June, 2014 Totally screened a total of 250 people and counseled about treatment options to the identified people with disorders (Around 22).

22 Industrial screening in Peenya, Bangalore Conducted Speech and Hearing camp at Veer-O-Metals Pvt Ltd, Peenya, Bangalore to identify people with speech and hearing disorders. Conducted on 05 th to 09 th, September, Totally screened a total of 670 people and counseled about treatment options to the identified people with disorders (Around 37).

23 Free Speech & Hearing Camp & Cochlear implant selection Mangalore Institute has provided audiological services at free speech & hearing camp & cochlear implant selection camp organized by: Lion s club, Kankanady padil, Mangala Gangotri, Mangalore; Manasa Cochlear Implant Center, Bangalore; On 07 th, December, 2014 at Natekal, Mangalore.

24 Cochlear implant camp A total of 256 patients were assessed and a total of 190 children and adults were identified with speech and hearing disorders. A total of 40 children were recommended for Cochlear Implantation after necessary investigations like Audiological evaluations, MRI, CT scans. A total of 146 clients were recommended for hearing aids and submitted the documents for financial support from the government.
