3 A decade ago, the use of magnification tools in the operatory was just about nonexistent. Dentists relied solely on mirrors to aid the naked eye to perform procedures. Today over 80% of dentists use some form of magnification device. It is considered an indispensable tool for performing the intricate work that is required of dental professionals everywhere.
