1 ClinCheck Fact Sheet. Introducing new features of ClinCheck Pro with 3D Controls and ClinCheck Web Powered by your needs to optimize your treatment planning journey. This fact sheet provides an overview of recently added features and improvements made to ClinCheck Pro with 3D Controls and ClinCheck Web, based on customer feedback. New and improved features of ClinCheck Pro with 3D Controls help optimize treatment planning. Also, new functionality within ClinCheck Web provides additional convenience and flexibility to view, modify and approve treatment plans from any location. Science in Every Smile 1

2 New features and improvements to clinical tools, as well as process and production improvements, are summarised in the table below, then discussed in more detail. 3 ClinCheck Pro with 3D Controls: What s New? New Features of ClinCheck Pro with 3D Controls. Realistic model inclination and cant angles. Vertical and/or horizontal occlusal plane angles can now be adjusted from within the TOOLS menu. Changed inclination angles can be saved using the APPLY button at the top of the 3D screen, or changes can be reset using the global RESET button at the bottom of right side panel. 3

4 Multi Tooth Control. For all types of tooth movement, several teeth can now be selected together, using CTRL + a mouse click, and moved using any of the selected tooth widgets. Complex Movement 3D Control. The new Complex Movement widget combines all tooth widgets for all types of tooth movement. The Complex Movement widget can also be used in combination with the multi tooth feature. 4

5 Tooth Movements Table. This new feature permits review and editing of movement numbers for all teeth together in a single table. Display of tooth movements can be switched between root or crown values using the TOOTH BASIS buttons. Also, tooth measurements can be easily switched between UPPER and LOWER arch at the click of a button. Measurements can be modified directly within the table, and can be copied to the clipboard and pasted to other applications outside of ClinCheck. FINAL STAGE buttons on the right-hand side of the table allow selection of Align or Doctor final values, or the difference between the two. Exclusion of Bite Jump (Dual Bite) from tooth movement measurements. Bite Jump (Dual Bite) movement measurements can now be excluded from the status line and measurements table. This new configuration setting has been added as a 3D modification preference in the DISPLAY tab of the SETTINGS dialog box. By default, Bite Jump is excluded from tooth movement measurements, but can be easily included by ticking the check box. 5

6 Feature Tooltips. Feature Tooltips are now displayed when the mouse is hovered over the attachment. Both the name and size of the attachment are shown in Original and Modify modes when the Attach & Cuts tool is selected. Tooltips are available for all types of attachments, Power Arms, Bite Ramp and Power Ridge features. Within 3D/Modify mode, tooltips for attachments that have been changed, moved or resized are clearly marked with a yellow-colored Changed display, and those for new attachments, added during modification, are clearly marked with a red-colored New! display. Patient Treatment Viewer. Within EXPORT, there is now the option to share treatment plans with the patient. A link to the patient treatment plan will be sent to the patient together with a password in separate s. The patient can review their 3D Simulated treatment plan within Web Viewer. Also, doctor contact information can be displayed on 3D Simulations sent to the patient, within the Information field under movie/settings. 7 Camera View. Captured screen views can be attached within a written text comment for sending to Technicians. The captured image is reviewed by clicking on the hyperlink in the comment field. STL Export. The treating doctor will be able to export the Align Data File (ADF) into StereoLithography (STL) format. 7

8 Improvements of ClinCheck Pro with 3D Controls. 3D Control Tool activated with open panes. Modification tools within the 3D Control panel can now be used with any of the panes in the right-hand side panel open. Customizable Default Zoom. Default zoom can now be customized by selecting SMALL, MEDIUM, LARGE or EXTRA LARGE from within the DISPLAY tab of the SETTINGS dialog box. IPR/Spaces shown in 3D view. While with ClinCheck Pro with 3D Controls, IPR/Spaces lines could only be hidden in Original mode, these can now be shown or hidden while using 3D Controls with ClinCheck Pro. This is easily achieved by clicking on the IPR button on the toolbar, then selecting 3D Controls ON/OFF from within the CHANGES tab. Tooth Movement Difficulty available in Original Mode. Currently, tooth Movement Difficulty is only available in 3D/Modify mode, but these can now be seen in Original Mode, by switching 3D Controls OFF. Occlusal Contacts available in Original Mode. In Original mode, Occlusal contacts (both heavy and normal) shall be displayed on Final position and Overcorrection stages. This was only available in 3D mode until now. 8

9 Bolton Analysis improvements. The following improvements have been made to Bolton Analysis with ClinCheck Pro with 3D Controls: Display Anterior Discrepancy: It is now possible to display anterior (3-3) discrepancy within the Bolton Analysis Tool in the event of missing posterior teeth (premolars or molars). Show Tooth Width for Supernumerary Teeth: Tooth Width can now be shown for supernumerary teeth (hyperdontia). A section entitled Supernumerary Teeth has been added to the bottom of the Bolton Analysis dialog box. This section will only display if supernumerary teeth are indicated for treatment. 9

10 ClinCheck Web: What s New? New Features of ClinCheck Web. Realistic model inclination and cant angles. Adjusted inclination angles applied in ClinCheck Pro with 3D Controls will be available in ClinCheck Web as read only. Power Ridge feature display. Power Ridge features will now display in ClinCheck Web. Patient Treatment Viewer. Treatment plans viewed with ClinCheck Web can be shared with the patient using the Share button, a link to the patient treatment plan will be sent to the patient together with a password in separate s. Doctor contact information can be displayed on 3D Simulations sent to the patient, within the Information field under movie/settings. 12 Improvements of ClinCheck Web. Improved Rendering (Color Scheme) Option. In ClinCheck Web, the color scheme can be modified for an improved rendering of the teeth and gingiva. Color scheme choices include CLASSIC or VIVID.
