This project resulted in one first author publication. Vanderbilt University (Postdoctoral and current faculty position): Title: Effect of hepatic glycogen level on hepatic glucose uptake and disposition. These studies were designed to determine whether an acute, physiological increase in the hepatic glycogen content would affect the ability of the liver to take up glucose and/ or alter the disposition of glucose after it has been taken up by the liver.
