2 RESEARCH FUNDING 8/15 8/18 National Institutes of Health (NIDDK), 1F32DK $164,258 Research-Reporting Fidelity within Dietary Weight-Loss Supplement Scientific Literature The integrity and value of science depends on the rigorous implementation of research methods and transparent reporting of procedures and results, yet in practice, many failings occur. The aims of this project are to evaluate methods to detect such failings, monitor their frequency, and test methods to train others to minimize such errors, by focusing on peer-reviewed literature investigating dietary supplements used for weight loss.
