2 Every body needs accuracy. Here s why: For anyone with diabetes, having the right amount of insulin at just the right time is important to keep blood glucose in range. Animas Vibe provides superior accuracy in basal insulin delivery, so you can be confident that you re getting the insulin that you program. As you can see from the charts below, not all pumps are created equal. Not even close. Accuracy is our first priority. Animas Vibe delivers basal insulin with higher accuracy than other pumps, dose after dose. 1,2 Our Swiss-made motor and Animas Vibe * Medtronic MiniMed Veo TM Insulet Omnipod high gear ratio allow for a higher standard of accuracy. Test method: Pumps were tested at a 0.5 U/hr basal rate over 20 hours. Thirty data sets, per pump, were assessed. Animas Vibe and Medtronic MiniMed Veo TM delivered at U at 3-minute intervals, Insulet OmniPod delivered at approximately 0.05 U at 6-minute intervals. Five runs each on 6 durable pumps and 2 runs on 12 patch pumps. Analysis method: Radar plots above show the single dose relative error for doses, doses, 7200 doses, and 5977 doses delivered by Animas Vibe, Medtronic MiniMed Veo TM and Insulet OmniPod pumps, respectively. Concentric circles represent a constant error level (ie, +/- 0% through +/- 100%). The upper and bottom halves of the radar plot represent positive (ie, overdosing) and negative (ie, under-dosing) errors, respectively. The clinical advantage of basal accuracy has not been established. *Testing was conducted with OneTouch Ping, which has the identical insulin delivery mechanism functionality as Animas Vibe. A combination of 2 Medtronic MiniMed Paradigm Revel and 4 Veo pumps were assessed. The Paradigm Veo pump is available for sale in select markets outside the US. The Animas Vibe insulin pump is waterproof at 12 feet for 24 hours. The Dexcom G4 PLATINUM Sensor and Transmitter are water-resistant up to 8 feet for 24 hours. CGM readings may not be transmitted from the CGM to the pump while in water. **Continuous glucose monitoring. You must confirm your glucose reading with a fingerstick test before taking action.

Learn more at animascorp.co.uk IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION The Animas Vibe Insulin Pump and CGM System is intended for the delivery of insulin and for continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) for the management of insulin-requiring diabetes. The Animas Vibe System s CGM, which includes the Dexcom G4 PLATINUM Sensor and Transmitter, is indicated for detecting trends and tracking patterns in persons age 2 and older. The system is intended for single patient use and requires a prescription. CONTRAINDICATIONS: Insulin pump therapy is not recommended for people unwilling or unable to test their blood glucose four to six times per day, unwilling or unable to see their healthcare professional regularly, or whose vision or hearing does not allow recognition of pump alerts, warnings, and alarms. The Animas Vibe Insulin Pump must be removed before MRI or CT scan, and the Dexcom G4 PLATINUM Sensor and Transmitter must be removed before MRI, CT scan, or diathermy treatment. Taking medications containing paracetamol while wearing the Dexcom G4 PLATINUM sensor may falsely raise sensor glucose readings. WARNINGS: Connecting to the pump before receiving the necessary training could result in serious injury or death. Younger children may inadvertently press the pump buttons and deliver insulin, which can lead to hypoglycaemic events. Caregivers are responsible for helping to ensure safe and effective delivery of insulin to people in their care, including using the safety features on the Animas Vibe System to help prevent injury. CGM glucose readings are not to be used to make treatment decisions. The sensor and transmitter do not replace a blood glucose meter. The sensor and transmitter are not to be used during pregnancy or while on dialysis. Sensor placement is only approved for sites under the skin of the belly (abdomen) in adults and the belly or upper buttocks for ages 2 to 17. Patients should seek professional medical help if a sensor breaks and no portion of it is visible above the skin, or if there is infection or inflammation.
