2 Introduction A medical expert, Dr. Bakshi has proven records in various specialised projects taken up by various government organisations both in disseminating medical education at higher levels as well as executing programs on various medico-social levels. A case in point has been the work done under his Directorship of the Drug-de-Addiction Project of the Delhi Police Department. Four earlier books of the author The Phoenix Repertory, Manual of Psychiatry, Manual of Gastroenterology and Manual of Urogenital Disorders have had an excellent response and widespread acceptance from the international Homeopath teaching fraternity and the medicos in the United States of America, Europe, Australia and Asia. The manual is the result of a marvellous effort towards providing the homeopathic physicians, scholars and students a compendium of precise user-friendly information, the systematic use of which can expedite accurate diagnosis and disease management for each individual patient - absolutely within the tenets of this medical system, which is well accepted and gaining the position of a popular form of therapy in most parts of the world. A complete handbook for the homeopathic physicians, scholars and students, it presents the relevance of rubrics along with the text of medicines. It follows the following format: Disease condition, etiology, clinical features, investigations Disease management, alternative therapies, and Repertorial references according to disease causation, clinical features, modalities, concomitants, and in the end Repertory of all sections from the Phoenix Repertory (advanced version) The references in this work have been assembled along side each and every disease, with precise and proper classification, making it much easier and faster for the homeopathic physician to get to the root of the disease. An index for each chapter, specifying the contents, guides the user at every stage. So, here we have for all of you (for whom Homeopathy matters) - a manual to be used extensively throughout your careers. It holds for you a huge collection of updated and well-researched new rubrics and remedies, keeping the modern classification of diseases in perspective. Publisher
