We do Recover Review of minutes for July and approval minutes approved Chair Report Hello NA family, Since last we met, three recovering addicts have volunteered to go into the hospital. One was oriented in July and the other two are experienced in H&I and are going to cover second and fourth weeks in August. It looks like we will be taking meeting into Southern VA and the Danville Women s jail every week. Thank you for your service. GSRs will you continue to communicate with home groups that we still need volunteers so that we can continue to consistently carry the message into these two facilities, and so that we can recruit enough men to go into the Men s jail too? Any men interested in jail meeting, please contact Lawson. Anyone interested in H&I please come to Area and let us know. We still need an H&I chairperson, but Area is where we can get you started. I was at a meeting recently where the group used meeting time to conduct group business and discuss a booklet that was created to help home groups deal with issues of disruptive behavior. I believe Group Conscience is the time and place for this, not during the NA meeting. I was thinking we might have a Learning Day about following the Traditions. 3 RCM2 I have not been to region yet as RCM2. The next meeting is the 18 th of August in Charlottesville. The next two day GSR assembly will be the third Saturday in October somewhere in the beach area. More info to come. Sue N. PR Report No report will be working with Phoneline to have a training day. Most were addicts looking for treatment options. South Boston took the phone. Phone is nearly up for renewal of minutes and service. Sue N. has the phone for the month of August. Danville will take it next month. Activities Report Absent Home Group Reports A New Beginning Our meeting continues to struggle with attendance. Most meetings we only have 2 people. Please announce in your home groups that we are in dire need of support. We have no donation today. Dee New Hope No report Gretna NA Group Gretna NA group is doing well. Home group member Nikki will be celebrating 2 years on August 22. I placed a literature order with Greg. Craig Living Clean Living Clean home group is in need of support. Only a handful of home group members attend with maybe a newcomer or two every now and then. In spite of the low attendance, we manage to pay our rent and have coffee at our meetings.

5 Please forgive me for not being in attendance. I plan on being consistent in the near future. In love and service, Jeanine New Vision A New Vision Group is doing well. Attendance is up. On August 25 th we have 2 addicts celebrating Amy S. 6 years and Andrew D. 8 years. This will be at New Visions Saturday night meeting and it will be a speaker meeting. At this time no donation. Mike H. Recovering Vigilantes No report no donation Steps to freedom Attendance is doing well. Tiffany M. will be celebrating 7 years. $50.00 donation Stick N Stay $20 donation and Jenni will be celebrating 18 months on 9/23. Helen will celebrate 9 years on 9/29. It will be a speaker meeting. Solutions with Serenity Absent Step into Serenity We have a donation and we have Sue N. celebrating 18 years this will be a speaker meeting on the traditions.
