2 Project / Presentation Guidelines to Students I. REPORT 1. Students are required to submit project report a. To respective project supervisors ONE WEEK prior to the presentation date and submit its approval sheet to project coordinator. b. To coordinator TWO DAYS prior to the presentation date duly signed by the supervisor. 2. Project report should STRICTLY be in the format provided by the DoME a. Format can be downloaded from b. Proper referencing for all the information/graphs/figures sourced should be done. c. Font type and size should be uniform throughout the report. 3. THREE copies of hard bind final project report should be submitted (applicable to Fourth Year only) a. One copy to the department. b. One copy to library. c. One copy each for all group members. II. PRESENTATION 1. Arrange names of group members alphabetically in slide with symbol number. 2. Use We instead of I. 3. Place appropriate photographs, results of the works done, not the ones from web and explain them. 4. Avoid writing bulky text / paragraph in slide. 5. Check for grammatical mistakes in slide. 6. Maintain eye contact with ALL the audience. 7. Size the length your presentation as per the time slot allocated to avoid shortage of time. 8. All group members must equally participate in presentation delivery and diligently answer the queries. 9. Presentation should be furnished with supporting drawings, models/product, if any related to project work. 10. Presentation slides should be copied to the laptop at least 15 minutes prior to the commencement of the presentation session. 11. Be confident about what you speak or speak only what you are confident of. III. APPEARANCE & ATTIRE 1. Presenters must be in formal (comfortable) attire up for the presentation. 2. Empty you pockets, except necessary items. 3. Hair should be neatly trimmed and in a style which doesn't encourage you to play with it. 4. Be careful while wearing jewelries or accessories. (Accessories steal concentration of audience). i
