1 E-BOARD APPOINTED POSITIONS APPLICATION IN MARCH Professional Project Chair-Elect [*must be a P1, 2-year commitment] Career Development Chair [P1 or P2] Fundraising Chair [P1 or P2] P1 Representative [will be appointed in the fall of 2016] OTHER LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES APRIL SSHP has six patient care projects, and each project has two leaders. Project leaders will be chosen for the next academic year by the Professional Project Chair and Professional Project Chair-Elect. They will choose based on current involvement in SSHP projects and leadership/organizational capabilities. An will be sent calling for interest to be a project manager in April! P1s and P2s are welcome to submit their name for consideration.

2 PROFESSIONAL PROJECT CHAIR-ELECT [MUST BE A P1, 2-YEAR COMMITMENT] Main priority is to assist the current Professional Project Chair and to learn about his/her responsibilities in order to prepare for the role. Supports other E-board members in planning events, including general body meetings and SSHP projects Duties of Professional Project Chair: Work with each Project Leader in order to have every event run smoothly Help allocate resources, networking, funding so every project has what they need to be successful Be available to other E-board members, faculty, SSHP members, etc. at all times Help start up new projects for anyone with an innovative idea Potentially present one of the projects at ASHP Midyear QUESTIONS? 3 CAREER DEVELOPMENT CHAIR [P1 OR P2] Collaborate with the Vice President to plan monthly GBMs that address the interests of student members and satisfy nationally-identified chapter requirements Create networking opportunities for student members with residents, faculty members, residency program directors, and various practitioners in the health-system setting Develop innovative programs to encourage involvement from all four classes of student pharmacists Build relationships with faculty and other practitioners in order to write the "Clinician of the Month" issue each month Attend monthly E-board meetings to collaborate with other E-board members, generate new ideas for GBMs/other events, and support chapter-wide initiatives Specific events from school year: Residency 101 Seminar & luncheon, Resident Panel, Dr. Pruskowski Clinical Talk, Leadership/PPMI Talk, P4 Panel QUESTIONS? 4 FUNDRAISING CHAIR [P1 OR P2] Organize the Fleece fundraiser-work with Underground Printing on the design, collect orders, place the order, distribute the items Come up with new fundraising ideas and ways to improve old ones Hold a spring fundraiser Noodles this year) Attend Executive Board Meetings and help out in any area that needs additional people QUESTIONS?
