After welcome all the members, workers, and guests the secretary of the organization requested the chairman to take the chair so that meeting may by started. The President further emphasized upon the significant achievements during the period and talked about the future plans of the society. The achievements of the society during the period under consideration were in form of successful implementation and handling of the programs as below :- DRUG ABUSED AND DEDICATION CAMP We create camp for drug abused person and give knowledge about its bad effects. 400 persons attended in our camp. Programmes were also organized in view of the villages on the important of non-formal education. In 10 villages, films were also shown to educate the people of various issues. The issue was discussed in details and with examples. They were asked to safe themselves and their families form the addiction. The villagers were convinced and took the advantage of the programme. FOOD PROCESSING CAMP CUM SEMINAR Considering the availability of raw materials in plenty the society organized a training camp in Samastipur in Bihar on scope in the food processing industry. The camp was attended by many youths. Some of these youths have started the own food processing units and are earning their livelihood. A seminar was organized by the society on the Food Processing Industry. The main theme of the seminar was the opportunities available in the food processing industry in particular reference to the NGO s. EDUCATION AND COMPUTER TRAINING PROGRAMME Considering very high level of illiteracy the society has started with the help of the volunteers organizing education program on regular basis in Muzaffarpur & Patna in Bihar. In the financial year society organized computer education awareness and computer training program. In computer training center there was training program for young school children s. LITERACY TRAINING CAMP UTKARSH (Society) have been provided Literacy Training Camp for 8 Days 75 youth in area of different District such as Bihar & Jharkhand with an objective of involving them in rural area for the development the knowledge of literacy for our youth group. Some outside resources persons from NGO s were also invited to conduct the sessions. Due to these Inputs, this society has develop a confidence power among the youth and take a step to remove the problem of illiteracy from the society. TRANSPORT AWARENESS & ROAD SAFETY PROGRAMME UTKARSH (Society) organised transport & road safety camp to educate people about the traffic rules.the main motive of this camp is to save peoples from road accidents because day by day road accidents are increasing A camp was organized by the society in some places of Delhi & U.P. Help of audio visual techniques was taken to make the presentation more effective. At the end of the camp traffic rules phamplets were distributed among the villagers. ELIMINATION OF CHILD LABOUR PROGRAMME UTKARSH (Society) is already involve in the current goals is to identify and resolve the worst form of child labour; these are defined as any form of labour that negatively impacts a child s normal development. A district level programme on the Elimination of Child Labour was created by UTKARSH especially in district of Delhi & NCR. There are lot of child labour engaged in factory of Cement. Through this programmes it operates around the district seeks the removal of child labour from this district. CHILD FETICIDE AWARENESS CAMP The society organized a consumer awareness camp in some places of NCR Region for Female feticide is common in India. The parents to be get the sex of their unborn child checked by ultrasonography and if it is a girl, they abort 2

This practice has invited outrage from the human rights organisations, the government, NGO s, intellectual religious organisations and other. It is a crime under law to abort a pregnancy just because the foetus is that of a female. Ultrasound clinics which have mushroomed in the cities and towns have been told in no uncertain terms that sex determination is illegal. RIGHT TO EDUCATION AWARENESS PROGRAMME UTKARSH (Society) organised a awareness programme in North & South Delhi about right to education. The purpose of this programme was to tell about the benefits of the education because education is very necessary to live a life. Many villagers had come and attended the programme. We tried to say that they should send their child to school. At the end of the programme we distributed books, pens & copies. AIDS AND CANCER PROGRAMME The designated senior workers organized an Awareness Camp on what are the safeguards to safe ourselves form deadly diseases of Aids which is spreading not only in our country but in the whole world. The specialist doctor took part and explained the villagers of South Delhi about the risk of the diseases and what are the safeguards and protection. HANDICAPPED TRAINING PROGRAMME The Society organised a training programme for handicapped in Delhi & NCR Region. The Society has been regularly involved in helping the disabled and handicapped persons by providing them necessary support both financially and morally. Effective steps are being taken to rehabilitate and make the disabled sell reliant. Some of these disabled persons are attending the typing and tailoring programmes also free of cost. This is a noble step taken by the society and appreciated by everyone. The Society has taken a number of steps including distribution of necessary equipments to the handicapped. Further, it has plans establish a school for the herniated. Other measures taken by the society include raising awareness about the handicapped so that they do not get separated in the society. The Society organized a special sports event for disabled in which 45 disabled 3

CONSUMER AWARENESS PROGRAMME The society organized a consumer awareness programme in Delhi on consumer day at the consumers aware about the precautions that they should take before buying anything from the market a Consumer Awareness Camp was organized by the society on the occasion of consumer s interest. Further they were informed about the various consumer associations that can be approached in case of need for guidance and support. The programme was highly appreciated by the attendants of the programme. HEALTH & FAMILY WELFARE UTKARSH (Society) organised a camp in some places of Delhi & NCR Region about health & family welfare. The main motive of this camp is to educate people about their health & welfare of their family. In this camp we tried to say Small Family is a Happy Family and their benefits. WOMENS VOCATIONAL TRAINING PROGRAMME UTKARSH (Society) continue engaged in woman welfare this year and target of society is to trained rural woman for their self-employment. For such society arranged 3 training center of tailoring and cutting for woman in different places of U.P. like Bareilly, Ghaziabad, Agra & Bulandshar. This training center is attended by 90 women especially from downtrodden, victim of domestic violence and widow. ENVIRONMENT AWARENESS PROGRAMME UTKARSH (Society) organized one seminar with camp Environment Day at some places of Delhi like Palam & R.K. Puram. Seminar impact of growing pollution on the human health and environment. The eminent speakers discussed the factors leading to increase in all types of pollution including water, air and sound pollution. It was felt that there is need to speeded the process of removing old vehicles, reduce the use of plastics, compulsory use of effluent treatment plants by the industries and all other methods which can be helpful in reducing and controlling the pollution. 4

The participants were 30 students this programme is to make the trainees so skilled that they may become self-dependent and stand on their own feets. We also distribute plants free of cost to the citizens for plantation. OLD AGE CARE PROGRAMME We also organized old age medical check up champ in South Delhi. 50 old age persons checked by our doctors. We also organized eye care camp for the aged. The Constant poverty and week old age of the beneficial are below the poverty line 30 old age were unparsed in old age cotter. AWARENESS PROGRAMME FOR WOMEN UTKARSH (Society) organised women awareness camps in Delhi & Ghaziabad regarding capacity building legal literacy camp and about 100 women and children were participated in this camp. 10 self help of women of income generation programme. The programme was attended by people from all walks of the life and it was felt by the attendant that this kind of programmes are very useful in the society like ours, where women s awareness about their fundamental rights are very low. Further, they were informed about various kinds of schemes formed and executed by different Govt. Departments for welfare of the women s either it is in education, employment or technical guidance etc. The realized the need for education and agreed to send their children particularly the girl child to school Further it was resolved that the society will further organize similar programmes in the near future. FAMILY PLANNING MOTIVATION CAMP UTKARSH (Society) organised family planning motivation camp at some places of NCR. About 250 women participated. We advice regarding accepting small family norms. Considering very high level of reluctance on part of the villagers to adopt the family planning methods population explosion has taken place causing deterioration in the available resources like Food, Education, Housing, Employment Opportunities etc. A camp was organized by the society of these Districts to the awareness about the bad effects of the disproportionate growth in the population. 11 CULTURAL PROGRAMME We also organized Cultural Seminar Program at Auditorium hall of Model Public Education College, Bahjoi Road Chandausi, Dist. Sambhal, State UP at 10.30Am. Different Cultural Programe was perform like Drama, Folk Dance and Singing. The participant from Delhi, UP and Bihar artist took parts. Under this program our organization expenses Rs. 82,360. 13 ABOUT UTKARSH SOCIETY UTKARSH, a registered society, is operational since 2006 for social changes and economic reforms, Utkarsh Regd No : S-54939/2006 and NGO Partnership No: DL/2013/ and currently operating in various places of India. VISION AND MISSION Utkarsh running with vision of social changes and economic reforms in India and working to enhance A level of society and economic reforms and contribute in development of India, team of utkarsh continuously focusing to eliminate various problems connected with INDIA.

15 ACTIVITIES, ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCES DURING THE YEAR ADOLESCENT PROGRAM We organised 10 adolescent programmes during the year in various places of India regarding to spread education and awareness of the process of growing up, prevention of HIV and AIDS and prevention from drugs among adolescents. We addressed value of education, life skill for self protection, safe and supportive environment, better communication to targeted audience. During the process of Campaign local residences also helped to success of objectives of Adolescent programmes. NATIONAL INTEGRATION CAMP During the year various activities related to National integration Camp have been executed in which all age of people participated and conducted cultural programmes, seminars, participated in regional festivals, visit to places of historical importance and science beauty and participated in relief and rehabilitation activities. SEMINAR ON HUMAN RIGHTS Various Seminars were conducted to spread education of Human rights among citizen of India and also discussed various topics related to human rights as women and child rights, business and human rights etc. Many people and other NGOs were participated in such activities and some schools also invited us to conduct seminars and various programmes in their schools and charitable trusts. VOCATIONAL TRAINING Our team organised vocational training programmes with help of other NGOs and voluntary students of different colleges participated in vocational training programmes, during the programmes our seniors and experts also shared their experience and also guided audiences regarding choice of training and career planning, comparability of general education and vocational education,
16 vocational university will offer all kinds of degree and diploma programs in vocational higher educational sector. EDUCATION AWARENESS PROGRAM In rural areas our team organised education awareness programmes and delivered message of value of education in life and also role of education in development of India, our team members presented stories, real experience and documentary films to impact on audience and end of programmes distributed pamphlets and stories books. COMPUTER TRAINING PROGRAM Our team conducted various programs in various places as Bihar, Jharkhand and UP of India regarding computer training program, during the programs teachers provided and shared basic knowledge of computer among students and distributed basic computer books and also provided guidance regarding future consultancy and explained role of IT in our economy and day to day life. CULTURAL SEMINAR PROGRAM We also organised cultural seminar program at Auditorium hall of Model Public Education College, Bahjoi road Chandausi, Dist Sambhal, state UP at AM. Different cultural programme were conducted like Drama, Folk Dance and Singing. The participants from Delhi, UP and bihar artist played prominent role in success of programmes. SKILL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Our organisation worked with another NGOs regarding Skill development programs in which group of teachers of various fields had been participated and delivered knowledge of various sectors as real estate, textile, banking, manufacturing, tourism and other sectors among Indian youth through seminars, Group Competition, documentary films and group consultancy. During the period , 10 group competition and 15 seminars had been successfully conducted. SANITATION PROGRAM Our team conducted Sanitation campaigns on different places of India and also made a part of Total Sanitation Campaign. More than 600 people voluntary participated in sanitation programmes and also spreading value of sanitation in
17 our life and awareness among other members and citizen of India. During program Caps and T-Shirts also distributed among members participated. HEALTH AND FAMILY WELFARE PROGRAM We organised Camps in various places of Delhi and NCR region regarding Health and family welfare. The prominent objective of camps conducted was to educate people about their health and welfare of their family. We also spreading awareness regarding small family as happy family CONSUMER AWARENESS PROGRAM The society organised various consumer awareness programmes in Delhi and NCR, Rajasthan and Haryana on Consumer Day regarding Consumer awareness in which experts delivered message among consumers that before buying what should be considered and how a consumer can appeal on consumer court and redress their issues, people also did cross questioning during programs and created interest of audience during entire session. The programs were highly appreciated by the attendants of the programme. AGRICULTURE AND HORTICULTURE PROGRAM Our team conducted Agriculture and horticulture programs in UP, Bihar and Jharkhand to improve quality of agriculture and Horticulture in Villages of India, our team experts also discussed with farmers and villagers regarding various topics as Seed Crops, Vegetable cropping, berries and small fruits, tree fruits and insects etc and also understood problems of farmers and villagers and provided and suggested various techniques to face common problems and better production. Villagers also participated in large level and attached with us confidently during entire programs. WATER HARVESTING PROGRAM We organised programs for promoting the concept of water harvesting, particularly in urban areas, as a technological solution that can be adopted by all, we promote water harvesting began with its in-depth research on India, for urban audiences we organised programs to show people how rainwater harvesting is done. People in large assembled to listen program and learn techniques which are used for water harvesting.
18 POLLUTION CONTROL PROGRAM We organised programs regarding air and water pollution in which spreading awareness about pollution control and value of it in our day to day life and explained negative impacts in our environment. People also voluntarily participated in programs and our team members showed some techniques which can be used to control pollution and for sanitation of India. It was felt that there is need to speeded the process of removing old vehicles, reduce the use of plastics, compulsory use of effluent treatment plants by the industries and all other methods which can be helpful in reducing and controlling the pollution. YOGA PHYSICAL FITNESS PROGRAM AND AYUSH PUBLIC HEALTH CARE PROGRAM We organised Yoga and Physical fitness Programs in UP, Bihar and Jharkhand with the Motive of awareness about Health and value of Yoga in our life, total 15 yoga teachers almost attended 25 programs and arranged environment in which yoga classes were provided to people and shared self experience with them also spreading awareness of Ayurvedic Medicines and natural treatment of diseases. Almost in total 700 to 800 people took active participated in programs. CAREER COUNCIL LING PROGRAM Career Council ling programs had been organised in which 15 members teachers and experts team providing guidance to students and explained value of various courses, how we can be eligible for a particular course and process of admission etc almost 500 students were presented in programs and asked Varity of questions with faculty members, end of session members also shared contact no with students for future guidelines.
19 WOMEN LEGAL AWARENESS PROGRAM We organised women awareness camps in Delhi, Ghaziabad and Alwar regarding capacity building legal literacy camp and about 170 women and children were participated in this camp. 12 self help of women of income generation programme. The programme was attended by the people from all walks of the life and it was felt by the attendant that this kind of programmes are very useful in the society like ours, where women s awareness about their fundamentals rights are very low. Further they were informed about various kind of schemes formed and executed by different government departments for welfare of the Women s either it is in education, employment or technical guidelines etc. WOMEN LEADERSHIP AND EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM The Society organised a Women leadership program in Delhi in which almost 150 young girls and women participated and discussed on role of women in business development and empowering young women with business knowledge, networking, the spirit of enterprise and culture of success. Introduced key concepts of entrepreneurship, marketing, branding, corporate finance, Global Economics, wealth management, Emotional intelligence and digital & social media marketing. DRUG REHABILITEE PROGRAM We organised programs in which youth participated and also conducted street play to show how addiction of drug can destroy an entire family and harmful for economic development. In our team doctors told audience how a addicted person can leave such habit and which medicines to be used in such cases. Some people also shared their bad experience due to addiction of Drugs among audiences. Short Films also played to show impact of drugs on our day to day life and we can fight against such problems. Our team also provided details of rehabilitee centres and contact nos of related doctors and consultants. SOLAR ENERGY SEMINAR PROGRAM We organised a seminar in Delhi regarding Solar Energy in which almost 200 people attended seminar and our experts discussed on solar energy production and use of it and how it can solve problem of electricity in India. Technical
