13 SUPER EWAN, INC. We can all be a superhero to someone!

14 The Inspiration for Super Ewan In the spring of 2014, Ewan approached his parents one evening with this profound statement When I m a teenager, I want to dress up like a superhero and help the homeless in Detroit. His parents told him that he did not have to wait until he s a teenager and within a few months they started Super Ewan, Inc. a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides food, clothes and basic necessities to the less fortunate people of Metro Detroit. Ewan Drum and his family on their first adventure. For over a year, Super Ewan and his family, friends and Super Volunteers have helped thousands of men, women and children at their monthly adventures (distributions) in Detroit and Chesterfield, MI.

15 The Road to Washington My father and I shot video during the first 8 months of our adventures to document all of our progress. In mid January we came across a post on YSA about the 2015 White House Student Film Festival and decided to enter. 15 videos, including ours, were selected as finalists and we were invited to the White House in recognition of our short films about Making A Difference. I met the President of The United States, several celebrities and other amazing young people who are doing extraordinary things to make the world a better place. Super Ewan: Make A Difference Video

October Super Socktober Sock Drive We ve also had food drives at my school, each class collected non perishable food items and the class that collected the most won a pizza party. In November of last year, our local cub scouts collected and delivered over 200 lbs of food to our Super Friends.

We constantly try to think of fun and creative ways to raise awareness, generate funds and better the lives of those who we ve come to know as our Super Friends. Raffle prizes from local businesses Welcome groups and orgs. to help Network with likeminded non-profits Offer sponsorship opportunities When we think creatively, we generate more opportunities for people of all ages to make a difference.
