2 Oosight. The non-invasive imaging system that reveals critical structures in the oocyte to enable better grading. Adding Oosight to your lab can improve success by offering you a quantitative and reproducible method to measure biological disruption in either fresh or previously frozen Disrupted Spindle - Tripolar oocytes. You can now select against oocytes for ICSI and embryos for implantation. Understanding the oocyte is critical to understanding the foundation of embryogenesis. Studies show that a disrupted spindle apparatus or a weakened zona pellucida in the oocyte have yielded lower pregnancy rates. One in approximately 20 cycles contains oocytes that are immature but are nevertheless falsely labeled MII using conventional imaging techniques.
