8 Innovative preservatives SENSICARE Intelligent microbial control SENSICARE range of products is the result of an on-going modern research program to develop innovative preservatives and antimicrobials for control microbial growth in personal care formulations. The use of SENSICARE enables to formulate cosmetic products by decreasing the concentration of preservative ingredients while ensuring the optimum protection in front harmful microorganisms. The lower presence of preservatives in the final formula minimizes its undesirable side effects such as sensitization and incompatibility with other raw materials. SENSICARE research program is supported by a large number of robust microbiological studies including Minimum Inhibitory Concentrations, Microbial Reduction Kinetics, Challenge Tests and Stability Tests in final formulations.

13 Plant hygiene solutions Chemipol provides SANIPOL family that is integrated by a complete range of products for plant hygiene including cleansing products for removing production waste and sanitizing solutions for cleaning cosmetic production facilities, both manually and CIP systems. Product Description Application SANIPOL 103 Sanitizing biocide based on a formulation of organ-bromine compound (DBNPA). Quick disinfection of production facilities, circulating systems and filling systems in cosmetic, detergent and all type of automated production facilities (CIP). SANIPOL 125 Sanitizing biocide based on a mixture of methylchloroisothiazolinone, methylisothiazolinone, glutaraldehyde and non-ionic surfactants. Does not release formaldehyde. Sanitization of wide spectra especially indicated for avoiding the alterations caused by microorganisms in production facilities, circulating systems and filling systems in cosmetic, detergent and all type of automated production facilities (CIP). SANIPOL 250 Formulation based on polyelectrolyte derived from an acrylic polymer. Removal of residual pigments and fillers from production systems. It is ready for incorporation in situ in the cleaning solution.

14 BioCheck Agar kit for easy microbiological check The kit comprises a box with plastic two face dip slides coated each with agar mixture that inactivates the existing biocide and provides the necessary nutrients for the microorganisms growth after incubation period time. One side is ready for aerobic bacteria and the other for fungi/yeasts. BioCheck is recommended for checking the presence of microorganisms in products (raw materials, intermediate formulations and final products) as well as manufacturing facilities (surfaces).
