1 VIII. List of Media 1 Potato Sucrose Agar (PSA) Potato 200 g Sucrose 20 g Agar 20 g ph 5.6 Wash potatoes with tap water, peel and cut into 1 cm cubes. Rinse with tap water quickly and boil 200 g of potato cubes with 1 L of distilled water for 20 min. Mash and squeeze through a muslin bag. Add sucrose and stir till dissolved. Adjust ph. Add agar. Make up to 1 L. Autoclave to sterilize. 2 Potato Carrot Agar (PCA) Potato 20 g Carrot 20 g Agar 20 g ph 6.0 Peel and slice potatoes and carrots, boil for 20 min with 1 L of distilled water.
