1 FDT acid-proof membranes CHEMIICAL RESISTANCE The following list for the chemical resistance of FDT Rhepanol O.R.G and acid-proof membranes is based on Part 1 of the Building and Testing Principles for the Protection of Water (Bau- und Prüfgrundsätze für den Gewässerschutz) of the German Institute for Constructional Engineering (Deutsches Institut für Bautechnik, DlBt) and takes into account experience gained in actual practice. In the case of mixtures of substances or substances not included in the list, please contact our specialists. FDT FlachdachTechnologie GmbH & Co. KG Dept. Acid Protection Eisenbahnstraße Mannheim Phone Fax Normally based on long-term practical experience. When exposed to loads under indicated conditions even during longer periods, only insignificant changes of the mechanical properties are to be expected. When exposed to long-term loads significant decrease of mechanical properties have to be expected, however, the functionality of the membranes might not be affected. Membranes can only be short-time exposed to the corresponding media, if significant damages are to be avoided. Even at short-time exposure, significant swelling, dissolving or degradation have to be expected.
