Clinical tests and imaging findings allow to classify rotator cuff tear and to select those, which are not reparable. Some irreparable cuff tears are well tolerated, while other may cause severe and painful disability for which patients may seek treatment. Usual treatments such as debridement, biceps tenotomy, partial repair and reverse shoulder arthroplasty are sometimes not enough, and tendon transfer represent an additional therapeutic alternative to restore a pain-free functional shoulder as much as possible without pain. During two days, the main experts in this field, with mini battles, debates and presentations will offer practical informations and new ideas for our patients. A great role will be given to video demonstrations with many tips and tricks to evaluate the patient and to perform these tendon transfers. On saturday afternoon, an interesting session of cadaveric dissection with experts should be the occasion to harvest and to fixe various tendon transfer. You are welcome in Paris.
